Wedgewood Gardens is one of the most professional care facilities in New Jersey. The staff provides care and concern for the residents needs on a daily basis. Communicating with the resident and their family. This alone projects a positive environment for the residents, their families and the staff. I am extremely impressed when my husband was a resident and the care he received. My opinion comes from being a health care worker for many years. The staff is exceptional!!! My Father was recently admitted to Wedgewood Gardens for a Rehabilitation stay. Making the decision to have my Father go into a facility or come home was not an easy choice for our family to make. But within 24hrs of my father being there we knew that our choice was going to benefit him. The Nursing team was caring, friendly and knowledgeable from the moment he was admitted. The therapy team provided my father with A+ rehabilitation. The encouragement, support and kindness that my father received truly made us know he was in good hands. Thank you to the staff for making sure that my father received great services.
The staff at Wedgewood Gardens was extremely kind, caring, and compassionate to my mother. Everyone made her stay a pleasant one, and went above and beyond to make sure all of her needs were met. I highly recommend Wedgwood Gardens to anyone in need of senior care.
Great team with caring staff. Several employees have their own parents there. Quality rehab. Highly reccomend for rehab and long term care.
My husband was back and forth at Wedgewood Gardens for a few months and I can honestly say it is the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen in my life. The “care” my husband was given was absolutely disgraceful. The only thing this place cares about is money. This place is supposed to a rehabilitation center, and my husband was supposed to go PT to start walking again. One day I received a picture from Debbie of him in the gym and then 2 days later he was in bed. Debbies exact words to me were “he worked so hard the other day, let him rest, he has insurance, and don’t worry the pic line is in”. Is that a joke??????? My husband was there to get better and they did absolutely NOTHING to help! The staff is very good at smiling in your face and then doing the complete opposite when you walk away, so don’t be fooled! There’s only 1 wonderful worker at this entire facility and that is the supervisor Al. Unfortunately, my husband passed and when I went to pick up his belongs, they gave me a bag with a snickers bar, a half eaten bag of ritz crackers, and a paper plate. They failed to give me back the BRAND NEW… 6 pairs of sweatpants, 6 tshirts, etc, that I had brought there when my husband was under their “care”. I wouldn’t even bring a rat to this place, and that is saying a lot!! I don’t know or understand how people left 5 star ratings because in all honesty, this place should be shut down!!!
