I want to share my incredibly disappointing experience at The Princess Martha. Having started as a server, I made the difficult decision to accept a promotion to Activity Director, believing it was a step forward. During my interview with the Executive Director, Ms. Brooke, I specifically asked if I would be able to return to the kitchen if things didn’t work out. She assured me, "YES, you can." I took her at her word, yet what followed can only be described as a nightmare. Despite committing myself fully and meeting all assigned deadlines, I was let go without any notice, explanation, or review. The promised 30-day and 60-day evaluations never occurred. Instead, I was informed by Laura from HR—who relayed the message from Brooke—that I didn’t meet any deadlines; yet I met all of them. They cited Florida state laws to deny me further explanation, which feels like a complete cop-out for their lack of communication. To add insult to injury, they blocked my phone number after I tried reaching out multiple times for clarification. Even when I called from my partner's phone, they blocked that number too. In the middle of this chaos, my partner's mother passed away and with the holiday season upon us, their complete lack of empathy is appalling. Working at The Princess Martha has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my career. It’s clear they care little about their employees and even less about open communication and support. I strongly urge anyone considering employment here to think twice.

My mother was there for over two years and this place is awful. They have been given several code violations (public record) and had to close the kitchen down for several days. They have issues with their elevators as well. They are attempting to charge my mother $500 for leaving an umbrella and chair on the porch which the new tenant requested. If you want independent living for you or your loved one, Go to Westminster. There is no comparison!
The Princess Martha is not only a historic building, it is a beautiful building with so much character and life and many stories that fill it. It’s a fantastic place to work, a home away from home for employees. The residents are just fantastic and they love it here. My grandparents moved in here a year ago and it was the best decision of their life. Amazing place! Come check it out!
Having stayed in many facilities around the world, the standard of The Princess Martha shines above all. The hospitality is second to none and the administration team is congenial and accommodating. I greatly look forward to staying at The Princess Martha again, and highly recommend the facility for anyone in search of a unique and wonderful experience, both permanent and temporary.
what an amazing place the Princess Martha, fit for Kings and Queens, the staff is wonderful and the food is out of this world! The dining room is just absolutely magnificant!!! What a wonderful place to visit and check things out, you"ll definately want to live there! The residents are all so wonderful they are always happy and smiling and make you feel at home too! The Administrater Brook Lootens is an awesome administrater and makes sure that everything is done to perfection as well and has been with the company for a great many years and she runs the Princess like a true champion, just a wonderful woman! Enjoy your visit to the one and only Princess Martha you won't be dissapointed !!
