The Preserve is a beautiful facility. It is a great home for our grandma. They have a variety of organized activities throughout the month. The care she receives is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is neat and clean. It is wonderful to visit her and see her happy and smiling!
I really do like this facility. I have a friend who is there and I visit frequently. The caregiving staff is very kind. Recently my friend had a severe setback and is now also receiving hospice care while she is there. It seems to be working well for her. When I visit, she is up and dressed and sitting in her chair and attempting to feed herself. my friend is feisty and resists other people trying to feed her, so they’re trying to balance what’s best for her along with meeting her wishes. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five is it’s like all other facilities, there seems to be a lack of staff. I was looking for a caregiver, and I could not find anyone to answer a question. Finally, I thought I saw one in the distance and I could not walk that fast to catch up with her. I have had lunch with my friend there and the food is decent, though definitely not “gourmet”. The rooms are large and comfortable and are kept clean. The patients also look clean and cared for.
My wife’s grandmother lives here, and we’ve visited her multiple times and been there for multiple summer events as well. It is always been a wonderful experience, they seem to really care about the people that stay there, and the facility itself is very clean and well kept up. I would recommend this facility to anyone that was interested.
We absolutely loved Mentor Ridge! The place is beautiful! The staff was amazing! They took such good care of my mom when we got away for a much needed vacation. My dad was able to visit her every day, and even though they were taking care of my mom, they took care of him as well. They both loved the gourmet meals and I heard that my mom ate everything that was put in front of her. Michelle welcomed us like we were part of the family. She answered all of my questions and reassured me that my mom was going to be taken good care of. I highly recommend Mentor Ridge if you need someone to take care of your loved one the way that you would.
