We moved in to Pillars of Prospect Park seven months ago and could not be happier with our decision. Our apartment with its floor to ceiling windows is beautiful. What we like most about the Pillars is the vibrant community feel of the place. We have the option of participating in one or two exercise classes daily and also can take advantage of the numerous outing opportunities on the Pillars mini-bus. We especially enjoy attending the many concerts and theatre productions that are offered with the bus dropping us off at the door of the venue. It is so convenient. I had the pleasure of being a part of the student residency program at The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living, and it was an experience beyond compare! First and foremost, the staff at The Pillars is exceptional. Everyone you meet at the Pillars is dedicated to providing the best possible care. The health and wellness of the residents is prioritized on every level. There are endless activities to promote your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. From fitness classes to arts and crafts sessions to educational seminars, there's never a dull moment at The Pillars. On top of that, the nursing staff is amazing. One of the highlights of my time at The Pillars was the opportunity for intergenerational interaction. As a student resident, I had the chance to connect with and learn from the seniors living there, and it was an enriching experience like no other. The wisdom, stories, and laughter shared during these interactions left a lasting impact on me, and I believe it's an essential part of what makes The Pillars so unique. In conclusion, my experience at The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living was nothing short of exceptional. The sense of community, the commitment to fostering intergenerational connections, and the dedication of the staff all contribute to making it a five-star establishment. Pillars is a wonderful place to live. I like all the recreation activities and the time we get to go to all kinds of events and that they’re listening to us as residents. I highly recommend people look at pillars and become a new neighbor of ours!
I cannot say enough positive things about the Pillars of Prospect Park! I get tears in my eyes when I hear my mom talk about how much she loves living there, because you never know how a transition this big will go. A positive culture and environment is because of good people, and the staff at the Pillars, no matter who they are and what their job is, are friendly, helpful, outgoing, respectful and I know they genuinely care about their residents. Besides the fact that the facility is light, bright and modern and her apartment is beautiful, the food is delicious, the activities they coordinate are creative and stimulating, and she feels like her neighbors all look out for each other. We need to think differently about aging, dignity for our elders and the importance of community, and Pillars of Prospect Park is a great demonstration of how that can be brough to life!
The Pillars of Prospect Park is a beautiful facility, with great rooms, a great location, and a great leadership team. Having worked with both Griffin and Melisa in the past, there is no other team I would rather have responsible for my grandparent's well-being.
