A family member stayed at the Pearl and we had a terrible experience. The care she received was awful. Every time we visited her she was in dirty clothes and she was often soaking wet. She was always without her hearing aid or glasses. She was kept in diapers the whole time when she would have been able to go to the bathroom if she had some help. We will never be using this rehab facility again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Pearl of Crystal Lake is absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. Clean facility and friendly staff—absolutely top-notch! They took wonderful care of my grandpa, and the therapy staff was fantastic. The ambiance is delightful, with beautiful decor that creates a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The food is simply outstanding—each dish is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Highly recommend for a memorable and enjoyable stay for your loved one.
Well, my dad wanted to pick a rehab that was close to his home and I trusted these people with his life. He was there less than two days and he almost died. I was there Friday. I asked the nurse if it was unusual his left face drooped and that he was slurring his speech. I also asked the nurse practitioner about pain management, which wasn't a concern as I tild her he had meds at 6am not until 6pm unless he asked. Now know at this time he had a stroke they missed here. His foot began to leak blood, but that was not a concern and his arm beganto swell. He wasn't responding to the nurses, and I said, I think he had a stroke. I'm worried and so was my sister. They evern said physical therapy was to see him. How do you not notice a stroke with a drooping face insured speech. This is a patient after he had clot surgery and a clot feom his leg to his lungs. Needless to say, we demanded that he be transported to the emergency room immediately upon arriving, we found out my father's leg is severely infected, so it could be in his bloodstream. During his stay, we find out that he had a stroke that they didn't recognize, and there's a clot his brain and in his arm. I find it absolutely horrible that trained medical professionals could not recognize a stroke when I pointed it out. He will not be back. We're gonna be lucky if he lives. If your family member has a serious medical condition do not come here.
My dad was battling brain cancer and received rehab here before he was deemed terminal. I highly recommend this facility. I specifically wanted to recognize one of the nurses named Kylie P. She was an absolute blessing for my dad. Her attentiveness and empathy towards my dad was truly remarkable. She consistently went above and beyond, ensuring every detail of care was handled thoroughly and thoughtfully. She would help him FaceTime me when I couldn't make it to see him some days- she even had her 4 year old daughter color pictures to hang up in his room. My dad always looked forward to seeing her every day he was there and found such comfort in her presence. She would make him laugh even in the face of his cancer battle. Whether it was providing medical assistance or offering comfort, Kylie's genuine compassion shines through in everything she does. Her kindness and professionalism made a huge difference, giving us peace of mind knowing my dad was in such caring, capable hands. I am eternally grateful for Kylie for being there for our family in the hardest time of our lives during my dad’s chemo/rehab and after he was terminal. My dad unfortunately lost his battle with cancer on August 12th 2024…but we will always remember the care she provided and she is a light we will be reminded of in a very dark time for our family. You are one of a kind Kylie!
I wanted to send a huge appreciation and say how greatful I am to The Whole Staff at The Pearl. Thank You for everything you did to take care of our Loved One for all this years. He just passed a couple days ago but everyone from the front desk to the kitchen staff made his stay there very pleasurable so Thank You All Again from the bottom of my heart. He always spoke so well of how well you all took care of him.
