The care has been very good for my family member. Their staffing for nursing care seems appropriate and their administrative staff is actively involved with resident life. Their aides and nurses are exceptional. There are frequent activities for residents that are fun and encourage interaction. It’s been a very good fit for us- and we couldn’t be happier with the communication from the admissions team. The building itself could use some interior updates(paint/fixtures)- but as far as care goes, we are pleased.

My mom (85-years-old) was here for rehab for almost a month and the care was wonderful! The staff went above and beyond for my family. Shannon, the social worker, answered texts immediately whenever my sister and I asked for help and input. Staff was good to my 85-year-old dad when he would visit my mom every day. Every staff member we interacted with was so kind, patient, and friendly. We were so very appreciative of all they did!
Although we chose Jackson Ridge Care Facility from a hospital’s list in another county from where they are in Stark, we are glad that we did. While we would not give their curb appeal a high star rating, for their care, we would. We have found All the staff, very friendly, kind and determined to carry through with their mission statement to see their tasks through the eyes of their patients and caregivers. For the months our loved one has been at Jackson Ridge receiving therapy and wound care, we have been happy. We have been pleased with the personal attention from not only the professional medical staff, but from all the other support staff—one of whom brings my brother, a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon. But we feel we have received that personal care all along from everyone working at Jackson Ridge Facility. We would highly recommend Jackson Ridge for their kind care.
Went for a tour of facility for my mom who is at the beginning stages of dementia. I understand that the care people get is most important, but I just don’t understand facilities like this who put no care into the surroundings people are living in. Place is dark and drab, yucky old furniture, needs to be updated and brightened up. Sad enough to have to look for memory care for a parent but can’t think of leaving her in such a junky looking place.
I work at a local food company and i had a customer (not going to disclose her name publicly) that stays here at jackson ridge, she is on bed rest and cannot move on her own due to just having surgery and she called asking for as much water as we could give her because her caregiver had not been there all day. when my driver arrived to give her food she stated she had not eaten in a FEW DAYS. She called back asking us to bring her silverware because she had none and i assumed the place tasked and being paid to take care of this sweet lady could give her the silverware since we were closed, she said she had called them multiple times and they refused to GIVE HER SILVERWARE because she was an independent. She is one of the kindest people i have had the pleasure of talking to and it makes me sick that it is too much for the facility to help her-i understand she is independent living and she does not therefore get the extensive amount of care some residents do but to refuse her a plastic fork out of kindness is sickening. i have worked at a nursing home and i understand it is hard and stressful but for this woman to get absolutely no help whatsoever is horrible- if this is a staffing or over occupancy issue i hope it is resolved because no one deserves to be treated like that.
