My dad has been a resident at The Palmettos for almost a year. I am thankful every day that I chose this facility for him. The facility itself is beautiful and has everything he needs, plus some unexpected extras. The residents are always busy with various activities and entertainment. It truly feels like a happy place all the time. And I would break the Internet if I tried to fully express how wonderful the whole staff is. Honestly, they are like family to us now. The Palmettos gets a 5 star review from me!

This is a place that has so much potential but because the uncaring staff it's not a place I would choose to ever put a family member. For the outrageous price to live here it's definitely a shame what they do to the residents.The kitchen director Josee serves all pre- made food, pot pies you can buy at a store for a dollar, took the soup of the day away, and took the snacks away from the residents. It's sad how heartless people can be. I'd think twice about working here in the kitchen for Josee, she will disrespect you as well as the residents. It's really sad how the other staff just lets her get away with being so rude.So if you are looking for a job or looking to put a family member here I'd advise you look somewhere else!
I’ve only been here for a month , I can say this place is a wonderful place to work or put family at. During Hurricane Dorian we worked as a family and got through this obstacle. This is a safe , beautiful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere to be around and you can feel the welcome in everyone you meet here. This place is the definition of TEAMWORK!
Management and staff chronically absent and uncaring. Meals are pathetic. Christmas breakfast was stale pastries and fruit from a can. Christmas dinner was bean soup and a side salad. Management and staff DO NOT CARE. steer clear.
The facility is beautiful... BUT the management is HORRIBLE. It's always short staffed especially on the weekends. Hopefully it will have a better turn over when the right people starts running the building.
