This is the worst facility I have ever been to. My poor sick, elderly and disabled husband is receiving care from this place and they are keeping him from having contact from me just because his sister said not to. So unprofessional, when I went there they are trying to say that my marriage is fraud ( how if 2 people love each other) but we ended up having an emergency marriage due to imminent health and when I told them that we were supposed to get married already last year but his son died they said “oh, so u blaming it on his son!?” I said “no, but it wasn’t a happy time to get married” I could not believe the cruel and unjust I was receiving from a care facility!!! I work part time as a behavior therapist and I am currently studying for my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at BayPath University an I take the Ethical Principles and standards very seriously and try to show compassion and understanding in every situation I am faced with but this kind of behavior and treatment I was receiving from OXFORD Rehabilitation and care center at 689 Main st completely took me by surprise and went against everything I would think a health and care facility stands for!!!❤️🩹🤯😳😡😠😣🥺

Out of fear of my review being considered defamation despite having multiple reasons and experiences to point to for issues I wont go into detail as I wish to. Yes, this place has warned us it has mice. Yes, this place had signs warning us of Covid and Flu on the door. Yes, the staff can be hard to tell from patients. Yes, my relative passed here. Yes, I feel they are at fault for various things. Avoid putting your relative or friend here. On a nice note, SOME staff seem capable and nice but I fear it is much better to find an alternative rehab. It is more like a long term care facility than a rehab focused on getting patients back to their life.
I have been trying to reach Alexandra in the admissions office for the last two weeks inquiring about care for my sister in law. Alexandra has not returned my call and leaves her cell number which is difficult to understand. I also asked for the GM, whose name is Richard. He doesn’t even have voice mail. The receptionist told me they leave for the day at 5 pm but my call was at 4:33. So I guess they close shop early or don’t need or want the business. What a way to run a care facility. If this is the zero response I am getting from admissions and management. I wonder how responsive they’ll be caring for my sister in law. I am quite skeptical of Oxford House and you should be too! Love to report them to the health department many infractions. Has to be inspected thoroughly family reports of mice , unhealthy surroundings, not helpful on helping patients on their physical health always put off don't let families visit their rooms of family there's a lot more only if the board of health investigation of the living conditions .
My experience with The Ambassador Program has been nothing but positive. It's so comforting to know they are here for me. They are knowledgeable and assist in so many ways. Thank God these people are here because I rely on them. They are such a big help. I am especially thankful to Candace, who is my personal favorite. She is extremely dedicated. She has always gone above and beyond to meet any needs I've presented. Candace is such a joy to speak with as she is very personable and most importantly empathetic.
