I came here as a 38 year old male to fight a bone infection and thought it would be terrible around everybody being old and whatnot. To my delight the atmosphere is fantastic and the nursing staff are very professional and the regular staff are very fun to be around.
Took great care of my father in-law. Staff was friendly and nurses were helpful answering questions.
My mother in law just rehabed a full hip replacement at the Villages of Lapeer. As an owner of a home health care agency, I have been in a lot of rehab facilities. This place has a special kind of caring and thoughtful culture. Not only did my mother in law get excellent medical attention, she was treated with dignity, respect, and cared for like family. What a pleasant experience.
This place only gives a patien a bath once a week. We even asked for her to get a bath. They don't check on the patients often. I seen a patient fall cause no one would come help. They sent my loved one home and didn't set up a nurse to come out and take care of their open wounds. The place is very out dated.
