My 83 year old father was admitted at The Orchard Post Acute Care Center on February 13th, 2025. I toured 3 Rehabilitation centers before I decided that The Orchard would be the best place for my dad. Even though it was reassuring to know that The Orchard had been recently named among the “BEST Nursing Homes” by US News and Newsweek , it was meeting Victor, the director, that actually convinced me that my father was going to be well taken care of in there. He spoke with pride and confidence about the facility and his staff. And now I can honestly say my father and I are extremely satisfied with the high quality of care and attention he received during the 3 months he spent at The Orchard. My wife and I spent many hours a day, 3 to 4 times a week at the Orchard and we got to know most of the staff by name. The majority of them demonstrated a true devotion for their work. Not only would they be attentive and patient with my dad, but I witnessed how compassionate they were to him and other patients. We were also impressed by the professionalism of the therapists, the nurses and literally everyone there. Even though my dad is a picky eater, he enjoyed the food. Moreover, the staff was always very flexible and more than willing to accommodate him when needed. Finally, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone there, especially nurses Marry, Brenda, and Romeo, the CNAs Rosa, Ariana and Rose. And to Victor for making us feel that this is not just a job for them; it is their true calling.

Completing my clinical hours at Orchard was a great learning experience. Many of the CNA’s I’ve had the pleasure of working with, (such as Tania, Stacy, Adriana, and Uriel), have been happy to teach and guide my classmates and myself. It is clear that these wonderful CNA’s take pride in their work, leave their residents well cared for, and always have a positive attitude. There are a few staff that have not been as welcoming to students but overall it was a great learning environment.
I truly appreciate the experience I gained at Orchard during my clinical hours as a nursing assistant student. Several CNAs—Monique, Bianca, Stacy, and Uriel—played a key role in making the learning process smoother. They were incredibly helpful and supportive to both me and my classmates throughout our journey. While there were occasional instances where some staff were less welcoming to students, overall, my experience was positive. The facility is very clean, and I noticed that resident concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly by the administrative staff.
I went to visit my grandmother in room 420-B Mary Ruiz and I was impressed with how they care for and help the patients. I really liked the treatment they also give to the family members. Personally, I recommend Orchard to take care of your family member. If you are ever looking for a rehabilitation hospital, it is a hospital that does not have a bad smell and has a very pleasant atmosphere. 100% recommended.
I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained The Orchard Post Acute Care facility is. The rooms, common areas, and even the residents themselves are always neat and tidy, which reflects a strong commitment to hygiene and overall care. However, I did notice that some staff members could be more attentive and respectful when addressing questions or requests from residents. A few seemed impatient or dismissive, which can be disheartening for individuals who rely on their support daily. That said, the overall environment is calm and orderly, and it's clear that a lot of effort goes into keeping the place running smoothly. With a bit more emphasis on staff training in communication and empathy, this facility could truly stand out.
