My Brother and Sister in law have lived there a few months. The care and assistance they receive are top notch. My brother went to the park and enjoyed himself. I would recommend the Opal to anyone needing an ALF. Nina and her staff are great and responsive to the needs of the residents. My brothers dog is popular with staff and residents.

Been here only a short while. Everything is BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN! The staff members are wonderful, very friendly and caring! The ONLY small thing is the male cook is not very good. He serves undercooked ground beef with no flavoring. Not sure that he knows how to use spices 🤔🤔 AM looking forward to the female cook to be back - not sure when her shift begins again - to enjoy the pleasurable dining experience once more.
My Gram has been there 4 years now. When she first moved in it was fantastic! Then the staffing turned terrible, my mother spoke to the Head of Brookdale and wrote letters. They said things would change, Well they did and the new staff has been amazing. The place is always neat and clean. The food there is very good I have eaten there many times with my Gram. Bob and Darleen the chefs are Amazing and very friendly and kind, they know me and my mother by name. I love that at Christmas time they have a family day and they feed the residence and there family. This year they did it on a week day, during the day so I was unable to go but this was the first year that happened. Hopefully next year it will get back to the way it was 3 years in a row so more family can make it. They have many activities for the residence to do during the days and they also have field trips. I just met Lisa today and what a kind, friendly, caring woman. I am thankful staff changed and they did as they promised or we would not be there today. Thank you all staff!
I would give it more stars, if available! My mom has been there five months after transferring from another Brookdale facility which was sold to different company. She loves it there. The employees are very caring and considerate, both to her and her family. She is extremely happy about the quality of the meals. Having joined her a few times for lunch and dinner, I wholeheartedly agree with her. My mom is 94 years old, and she is cared for as if she was everyone's mother.
My Mother likes Brookdale, and I do too. Mom has been living there for 4 years now. It is a small unit, very homey. The Staff treat the residents like family and Mom says it feels like home. The food is good. I would recommend Brookdale very highly.
