Our mother was a resident at the Oaks for over 2 years (until she passed), and we were pleased with our selection. The Director tries very hard to ensure that the residents are well taken care of, in a safe environment, and that any issues are investigated and dealt with in a timely manner. The Activity Director does a tremendous job of engaging residents and providing a lively atmosphere, with a variety of activities. While there has been a big turnover of caregivers, most of them were very kind and caring — and some were phenomenal. The kitchen staff is outstanding, providing 3 good meals a day, and working very hard to accommodate any special dietary restrictions. The on-site PT/OT therapy team does an excellent job of engaging residents and helping them get stronger. We don't believe that any of the assistance living facilities are perfect, and family members need to stay involved to ensure their loved one is being treated as expected. We did install cameras in the second year and wish we had done so sooner. It is knowledge — and it provides visibility to both the good and the not so good.. We were able to provide praise (and feedback to management) regarding some of the more outstanding employees. And the minor issues that we experienced were dealt with immediately. Overall, we would recommend the Oaks and have no regrets about our choice.

My mom was there for 17 months before her passing and during that time she received exceptional care. The staff was attentive and caring. The apartments are spacious and kept clean. A very nice facility. I would recommend it to anyone needing an assisted living facility for their loved one or themselves.
As a worker here once I wouldn’t recommend no one take there loved ones here the RN was stealing the meds and they don’t report things like shingles. Workers quit left and right!! but it is a beautiful place tho
My parent was at this facility until they passed. Management and staff are superb. They were always attentive to our needs and concerns. I happen to know one of the persons that left a bad review. They are a disgruntled employee. I saw them speak rudely to one of the residents, and I had to complain about them. It is no wonder they left a bad review because they were upset over losing their employment. Although my parent has passed, I highly recommend The Oaks facility to care for your loved ones. The Oaks provides a healthy environment with plenty of activities for their residents to be involved in.
Management (centhia) she/is bad, they will have you listed under one position but have you doing 5-6 other jobs, driving the medical van, house keeping, serving, med cart, serving food, dishwashing, hanging TVs not only that painting rooms… “so they can save money” that’s words from the maintenance man Raul.. not only that be careful when bringing your loved ones here and letting them ride on that medical van it’s very unsafe. Trust me I drove it and I didn’t like it. Every dashboard light is on. You have the traction control light on check engine light on, it overheats the oil light on wheel bearings needs replacing, I asked why don’t they get a new one the maintenance man said because of money, they can’t but they have residence paying $5,000, $8,000 a room, that’s plenty of money that’s greed, one time I had a residence in there and it started overheating on the highway not only that the speed thermometer does not work. It stays at zero or at 40 MPh when it goes up in a drop back down and stay at zero it don’t work, you can’t tell how fast your going, the Abs light is on and battery light on, it also leaks antifreeze the maintenance man had to come put water in it while I was taking a resident to a doctors appointment, also the shift knob comes off, this place is money, hungry. Trust me. I was front desk concierge. They only care about the money they will overcharge you Cynthia say she will give you an extra hundred dollars when you sell a room for her but she never did that, be careful because the manager here is sneaky. Don’t trust her and this is not just from me. Ask around even the residence will tell you that some of them are not being treated fairly. I use to help them all them time we had residents in pain and some that want you to call their family they would ignore them for days, I showed them how to call and work their phones to get in contact with loved ones, Also there’s no way to contact corporate they got it hidden, I tried or the manager he’s a male but there’s no way to get in contact with him when you call the number on the website and ask for corporate. They will send you to Cynthia desk which she is front desk not corporate, there’s plenty of times when I told them things about certain residents needing help with certain things toilet plumbing, the maintenance guy he will ask can you do it? He won’t even do it his self. He will get the front desk concierge, or the housekeeping people to try to do it for him, even though it’s not their job, I’ve changed Vince multiple things around there, but it’s just horrible go ask the residents or the people that worked there for yourself, or just read the reviews also they will let anyone work the med cart with no experience or training witch is dangerous, also they are getting fake positive comments on here to hide and wash out mines because it’s exposing the truth, but look who has the most votes and thumbs up
