The Oaks at Jamestown is hands down the best facility for families in the Grand Rapids area. From the moment I walked in, I could tell these residents are in the most caring and capable hands. The staff is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming environment. Their personalized care plans truly make a difference in the lives of residents, and the family atmosphere they foster makes it feel like home. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and filled with constant activities that keep the residents engaged and happy. I am so grateful for the amazing care they provide as i work with all facilities around Michigan, and I truly believe The Oaks at Jamestown is #1 in all of Grand Rapids for senior care. I’ve been a resident in the Independent Living area since August 2024. I am extremely pleased with the services offered. Such as cleaning my apartment on a bi- weekly basis, sit down dining with our own sous-chef, a concierge on duty for whatever questions you have or service you need. Food is excellent. Coffee, tea, or soft drinks are available 24/7. The staff works extremely well with each other and are very eager to please us. I love it at The Oaks at Jamestown!
Moving to The Oaks at Jamestown was an AMAZING choice for my mom! She has met wonderful new friends and enjoys all of the friendly and caring staff! She will tell you, “it’s like living on a cruise ship”! Not only are 3 meals a day included, but boy do they have amazing chefs too! There are wonderful activities and outings to enjoy every week. The apartments in Independent Living are spacious and beautiful! She is SO happy living at the Oaks of Jamestown and living her best life in her 80’s! I personally have worked with senior living facilities all over Western Michigan for over a decade. I have never seen a more cohesive staff and lovely facility with so many positive attributes! This community is a huge blessing!
This is a beautiful facility! I have toured and met several staff members and was very impressed. I had the good fortune to attend an open house and as part of that I got to try the food. Wow!!! Spectacular! Everyone was extremely friendly. The residents rooms look fantastic and comfortable. The independent living area is amazing too. I’m not looking forward to aging and needing to be in a facility, but the Oaks of Jamestown would be where I would want to live.
Both of my parents were in the memory care. They received such wonderful care. My mother has passed away. But my father is still at the Oaks. He absolutely loves it. There’s so many activities. The food is fabulous and the staff truly cares, all of the staff. Housekeeping, cooks, the aides and those that work in the office. I moved my parents from a different facility to the Oaks. I truly would not have believed how great a care facility could be if I didn’t see it for myself. Our whole family has been blessed!
