Having to find a place for my dad that could allow him a large degree of independence but also be there if help was needed was daunting to say the least. We toured and talked to many places in Springfield and they all seemed very nice. My friends suggested I drop in unannounced to really see what it was like. I did that at a couple of places and the Montclair impressed me the most. The afternoon we dropped in, people were in the commons area during a happy hour and chatting and singing along with the live performer. A very lively duo and everyone looked to be having a great time. I was expecting a lot of older people sitting around and listening but was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite. They were engaged and talking with each other. Lots of joking around and laughter was present. They arranged an immediate tour and we were able to talk to several residents who raved about the staff, their apartments, and the care they received. After a week of searching, we decided the Montclair was the perfect fit for my dad. Jeff has been so easy to work with and has answered all our endless questions. If your parent is a veteran, make sure to ask about the Patriot Angel's program to help pay for rent. My dad is now counting the days down until he can move in and we are all excited for him.

Wonderful Place for my family member to stay! The facilities and updated, clean and all the staff go above and beyond for their residents. Bonus- The food is amazing and they have many social activities. I can’t say enough good things about The Montclair!!!
Montclair Senior living has all the amenities I could ever ask for! They really give you a sense of care as soon as you walk in! I had a wonderful experience with Jeff who was so friendly and took the time to answer all my questions! Wonderful place👍😃

The Montclair is very nice and clean. My tour with Jeff McCracken was so fun! He was very informative and answered ALL of my questions with patience (and I had ALOT!) He even gave me some great solutions and tips on things I was worried about for my mother. Thank you sooooooo much Jeff!
