My dad was in a Syracuse nursing home for 2 years and after 2 years of waiting lists, we are thrilled to get him to The Manor. The room is clean, large and cheery, it's 100 percent better than where he was. His nails are clean, his laundry is actually washed, he is shaved and wearing clean clothes. He is taken to activities and he tells us the food is good. There always seems to be staff around to help. I'm grateful!

Seneca Hill Manor. Where to begin. I have to say most of the staff is rude. You bring your concerns to there attention. They literally walk out of the room and talk about you and the patient. Don’t answer call bells. My client is here for rehabilitation. I wouldn’t bring a fish here to rehabilitate. I would like to say thank you to JoJo she was wonderful. Very helpful. She gives hope to the Manor. Unfortunately she can’t work 24/7. That to bad. We need more like her.Let me give a shout out to Makenzie she is a truly wonderful CNA that cares about her residents on the 2nd floor
I have been a patient in FOUR rehabilitation centers in ondaga County and place is superior to any of them . The aids and nurse's and professional and willing to help at anytime . Call bell wait time is minimal. Food quality is good if you don't like what is served they will call the kitchen and place special request if possible . The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that the cable system needs serious help spcial thanxs to the first and second floor staff
My mom is currently there and not receiving good care. She’s been complaining of a UTI since Thursday and they’ve done nothing. Finally on Saturday after she complained 3 times, they told her they couldn’t do anything until Monday until the lab is open. I know this is untrue. I’ve worked in healthcare and have friends in healthcare. I will be calling the Joint Commission on Monday. This is a HUGE failure in patient care
My mother is a current patient and the lack of care is disgusting. She is there for rehab because of a broken femur from a fall after hip replacement. They told her she couldn’t get up because they didn’t have a walker for her because her rehab was put in the system wrong so they made her pee/poop in a bed pain and several times didn’t put it under correctly causing her to soil the sheets. She believes she has a UTI and has complained for two days and no one has done anything about it. When she spoke with the head supervisor she was told they didn’t have the right “cup” to take a specimen and the test wouldn’t be done until Monday anyways, it’s Saturday. Also was told they didn’t have a doctor on premises at all times, yet there is a doctor on call. There has been literally no progress because of the lack of care, the lack of concern and the straight up incompetence. We will be taking this to the JCAHO, and BBB because it’s abuse. Don’t send your loved ones here.
