I have liked living at Legends for the past 5 years. The living spaces are nice although some of the cupboards could have been designed better for seniors. The common spaces are lovely. The staff is very approachable and friendly. Things I don’t like are the hall carpets haven’t been cleaned since the building opened and there are many stains on them and I wish they could be cleaned. I especially like having a heated garage in the winter.

The only fault I find is the space in our three bedroom apartment. It has to be the smallest 3 bedroom unit in the Legends. We also have a problem controlling the temperature. The bedroom I occupy gets up to 80 degrees and I have to turn on the air conditioner at night in order to get some sleep even if it is -5 degrees outside. There isn't any heat registrar in the second bathroom. I had to purchase a electric heater to get the bathroom comfortable enough to take a shower. Other than that life is good.
I moved into The Legends when it first opened and fell in love with my apartment and the amenities.The building I full of fun people and we create our own activities. The atmosphere is very positive. The Management team is top notch. They host events several times a year including a barbecue for Neighborhood Night Out. The building is clean and well maintained. Why would I live elsewhere. I’ve been a live-in caregiver for my father at this location for 4 years, and we are so happy here. We love the management, most of the other residents are wonderful, the building is beautiful. We have a lot of access to walking trails (paved and dirt) along the wooded areas, lots of wildlife spotting, while also close to stores, restaurants and easy access to highway. The EMS (fire, police, ambulance) is typically really fast in our area. Only downside is some traffic noise but that’s easily remedied with soundproofing curtains. ❤️❤️
For the most part, I am very pleased. But dust in air ducts has greatly caused allergies, marks on walls in hallways, not letting residents know if management will be gone for day. I know they do the best they can as a rule.
