We toured the community. Mr. Bryant warmly greeted us and showed us around. I was impressed by how clean the building was; the interiors were neatly designed and decorated. Live piano performance was on in the main lobby. I loved the open space right through the center of the lobby. Staff were very caring and attentive with residents. Overall, it was a great experience.

The Landings of Georgetown is the third assisted living facility where my mom has been a resident. It is by far the best care she has ever received. The staff is very attentive to her and makes sure she has activities everyday and exercise. And the FOOD! She like’s everything they serve, especially if chocolate is involved! Mom is thriving and looks better than she has in a long while. The staff will text or call us with any concern they have. I have great confidence in their abilities and care. We celebrated Mom’s birthday on the patio just outside the building. It was a treat for all of us. A beautiful day in a beautiful setting. Our family received lots of support and assistance in making our event wonderful! We are thankful the The Landings is open and so close to our home. It is a blessing and peace of mind for all of us.
This facility has been a tremendous help and resource to me in the arena of elder care. This is the third facility where my parents have lived, so we have a few facilities to compare to this one. I have both my mom and dad here(dad passed in August). I have received help and guidance with the Long Term Care Policy my parents have. The medications are kept up with and administered daily ,according to the doctors orders. I could go on about the staff for days but will say that these ladies are special. They are in constant care mode and provide help not only with the daily activities but provide love and thoughtfulness on those difficult days..Mom is really happy with the food as well. I must also say that the administration has bent over backwards to make sure that our family is satisfied with the overall level of care and professionalism. My mom was one of the first residents at The Landings of Georgetown. We had to put her in a secure facility, as she had dementia and was leaving her house, by herself, at all hours. It was not an easy decision to make; however, it wasn't long before we knew we made the right call and she was in safe, loving hands. The staff at The Landings of Georgetown walk with God. It didn't matter what their position was, they ALL took great care of my mom. Many times we would go to see her only to find her in the arms of one the nursing assistants, or laughing and doing arts and crafts with the activities director and other residents. When she had to be put in hospice care, I found the maintenance man holding her hand as he was switching out her bed for a hospice bed. The kitchen staff had tears in their eyes when they realized she wasn't eating or getting out of bed anymore. I can go on and on about these angels on earth, but I'd run out of space, I'm sure. The Landings of Georgetown is run with lots of love, patience, and empathy. P.S. They took great care of us, too. Rest peacefully in Paradise my beautiful mama. You are loved and missed dearly.
So impressed with the staff at this community. From the moment you walk in, you see the leader, Kristin and her entire team. With so much turnover, it is comforting knowing that there is a seasoned administrator there that really puts the residents first and advocates for her residents and staff. Thank you so much to Kristin and her team for all their help, care, and support.
