The arrival of LDK as the new owners of The Landings has been a welcome change for the better. LDK have already displayed a genuine caring for the well-being of residents and are making rapid progress at improving many aspects of life in the village which had, sadly, been neglected by the previous owner. The Landings is now a happy, caring and ideal place to enjoy our retirement years.
Sheila and I have lived at The Landings for the past 10 years,and as a direct result of LDK having acquired the property some months ago, I now feel that I can confidently recommend the village to anyone considering such a move. I notice that Heather Clark gave the village a 1-star rating, which (in my opinion) accurately reflected the sorry state of village-life under the previous operator and management. Fortunately, with the new management provided by LDK, combined with the quiet charm, the physical beauty and the generous living space provided within the village, - we now consider that we enjoy a very desirable home.
Wow. Friday night was fantastic . Maria managed to set our table of 10 with 4 tables square. Converrsation was easy for all of us. I asked Maria to tell us about her experience in that place where they manage to win state of origin. She blew us out of the water with details. 11 out of 10. This complex is delightful and we often remind ourselves how lucky we are that we moved here 4 years ago. There were a few ups and downs when we first arrived - but since the new owners, LDK, took over we have been so impressed with their transparency, their care of and interest in each resident. Plans for the future have been clearly explained and all residents are now so happy that their long term stay will be a fun and comfortable one. The LDK team should be congratulated on what they are achieving!
