My sister was a resident in The Landing Memory Care Unit for 2 1/2 years. She could be a difficult person at times, and the staff always responded in a kind and loving way. I visited frequently and was always astounded by the patience and kindness exhibited by the staff. My sisters room was always cleaned and her personal hygiene was always addressed. If she was unhappy with the menu, they would find something she wanted to eat. The senior leadership listened when I had concerns and addressed them to my satisfaction. Staffing was always adequate. I was so fortunate to find The Landing of Winder and highly recommend they without reservation.

Home is always the best place to be, but when one of the curves life throws you puts you in need of assistance, the best place to be when your primary caregiver needs a bit of time to travel for work or to rest, is a place that feels like home. At The Landing, there is always someone welcoming you home, smiling with the sort of smile you give a loved family member. This a place of excellent care, yes-- but also of warmth and attention to individuality.
I’m so happy with this place. My husband was at Rainbow Senior Living and Rehab for 3 months and lost between 45-50 lbs. He is thriving at The Landing of Winder!!! He has been in a very good mood and loves everything about it!! It’s pricey, but I understand why! The place is beautiful and well-kept. Everyone is just so nice and helpful. If you need to talk about anything, Christen is SO helpful and kind. She truly makes it as easy as possible!
Disappointing Experience at The Landing of Winder: A Review Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (0/5) I recently had an unfortunate experience with The Landing of Winder when my motorcycle broke down while riding on Haymond Morris Rd. I made my into their parking lot as my motorcycle was giving out to see what was going on. I made several attempts to restart my motorcycle but was unsuccessful. I contacted my mechanic to arrange for a pickup. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, they were unable to send a tow truck until the following morning. Considering the situation and the fact that there were plenty of empty parking spots available, I asked the management of The Landing of Winder to inquire if I could leave my motorcycle overnight. They denied my request, showing no willingness to accommodate someone in need of assistance. This incident left me questioning the management's attitude towards customer service. If they are willing to deny a simple request from someone who is experiencing a genuine problem, it raises concerns about how they treat their clients and patients on a regular basis. A little empathy and understanding could have gone a long way in improving my overall impression of The Landing of Winder. While I understand that not every establishment can cater to every situation, it is disheartening to encounter such inflexibility when facing a predicament. I hope that The Landing of Winder takes this feedback constructively and considers reevaluating their approach to customer service and those is need in the future. In conclusion, based on my experience and considering the industry they are in, I cannot recommend The Landing of Winder for their lack of assistance and empathy in a time of need.
The Landing of Winder is a wonderful facility. Not only is everything brand new and decorated beautifully, the staff are amazing. It really is like going to a resort to visit the grandparents! Everyone is so helpful and caring. I would stay here myself!!!
