Just did a walkthrough, and found it a beautiful, inviting place! We were looking on behalf of a sister-in-law, but I got excited about moving there myself! Friendly staff and wonderful amenities. Lots of activities available. Caters to many interests. Seems like there’s always something happening. Resident I talked to loved living there, said all other residents are her friends.

This was such a hard decision. I went to 6 places. I chose the landing. My mom has had amazing care for the past year. . From caring people. It has not been easy. She is moving from her last few weeks at assisted living(they help keep her there as long as possible). Now she is transitioning to memory care. They help they care. It’s not easy for families but the staff really tries. They go above and beyond. They offer activities and music. And social activities.
Placed my mother in mental care earlier this year. I’ve regretted the decision 2 months later. You would think since they have a special wing for “mental care” that they would be prepared for all that comes with someone with dementia. Apparently they are prepared when it serves themselves or when it’s easy. Getting calls after midnight to see if I’d take her to the hospital is ridiculous. That’s exactly why she’s in your care. Do yourself a favor and don’t place your loved one in this place. For what they charge it’s just a waist. No idea what they actually do with all the money rolling in there but it’s apparent the customer comes second or even third on the priority list. Short staffing and some of them just being down right rude or having little to no care for their job tells me they don’t make what they should and that administration is making way too much. With that said I have a new place lined up and will be moving her by the end of the month. Stop giving these clowns your money. And whoever from the landing reads this don’t bother with that generic response you give on here for all the terrible reviews. It’ll just fall on deaf ears.
The aids in the memory care center show a disgusting lack of respect and compassion. To witness them rolling their eyes at several clients and ignoring a patient while they stood around and chatted was disgraceful! Also why are they bringing their children to run around without supervision and causing upset and making it hard for the clients to move around in their walkers. The place looks and smells much better than any other facility we had investigated, and everyone was super nice when we had a scheduled tour. Once we moved my loved one in however it became painfully clear this place is only superficially acceptable. My suggestion is you re-train the aid staff to treat the residents as they would like their own family to be treated and maybe that would help. And do something more that turn on the TV in memory care, I see all these lovely events online for the regular area of the facility and the memory care have very little entertainment
The Landing is a wonderful place! My grandparents currently live here and the Landing offers many fun activities and services for them. Recently we just attended a pizza night with our family and it was a huge hit! Great food, company, and even live music.
