Took a chance on this little lodge and was surprised by the good experience we had. Check-in was super easy and quick. The lodge has a wonderful charm to it and added to the entire ambiance of the whole town. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was a big fan of the dim lights look and I felt like I was in Little Women. The bed was comfortable and clean- trust me- I checked. The only downside to this lodge would be the noise. The walls are very thin, so we could hear kids upstairs running and jumping. We could hear when the guests next door turned on their bathroom fan cause it’s super loud. I would not recommend this place for light sleepers! Thankfully, I slept just fine and really enjoyed the proximity to the town. Everything was walking distance and the parking was close by so you can keep an eye on your car and feel safe that it’s close by. The lodge was very affordable as well and I thought it was money well spent.

A lovely lodge with quite comfortable and clean rooms and amenities such as a fridge, AC, heating etc but what makes it special is the warm and welcoming staff and personal touch every time we stay here. This time I forgot something in my room, the manager messaged me and arranged to have it shipped to me. You won’t find such outstanding service in chain hotels. I always look forward to staying at the Julian Lodge where it’s centrally located within walking distance to nearby eateries and ample parking on site.
Julian Lodge is a very quaint and quiet hotel. Stayed here two nights. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Jeff who works the front desk is amazing and helpful. The lodge is right off main Street so everything is very easy to walk to. Highly recommend if staying in Julian. Also they love PCT Hikers!
I was staying there during my PCT Thruhike. They were so friendly to me; I arrived early and was able to check-in earlier. Also they offered laundry service for a small fee. Definitely can recommend to stay there :)
Great place if you’re staying in Julian for a couple nights. I’m a moto rider and place is close to great daily routes. At the end of the day perfect place to relax, walking distance to everything on Julian’s downtown. Town gets pretty mellow and quiet after the day visitors leave, so the afternoon walk around town is pretty chill and the lodge is close to everything.
