Finding a just-right placement for a loved one was not easy journey. One year ago, I was blessed to have found a placement in The Heritage Memory Care residence for my husband. Every staff member is attentive, patient and most importantly, treats each resident as members of their own family. Daily activities and monthly special events are planned to meet the interests and needs of each resident. The design of The Heritage allows residents to move about freely within the facility or to enjoy nature in the enclosed, covered patio space. The facility is modern, clean and welcoming. Several family members have recently formed a "Booster Club" and plan bi-monthly activities with residents...not sure who has the most fun, the "club" or the residents...lots of laughter and hugs! Yes, The Heritage is my husband's home away from home.

I can’t say enough about the caregivers at The Heritage. My mother became a resident in March 2023, and they cared for her so well until she passed earlier this week. My mother was not an easy woman and could be downright mean. But the staff at the Heritage was always patient and kind with her. It is a very difficult job to care for those whose minds are weakened by age and disease, but they show up every day with a smile and a determination to make the lives of their residents as good as they can be. I appreciate everything y’all did for my mom.
My husband Bill has been a resident at Heritage since last February. We moved here from Pensacola FL to be near our daughter and her family. He was in a memory care facility there as well. We have found The Heritage to be all that we had hoped for and more. The staff are a caring, positive group who truly enjoy what they do. There is a great variety of activities going on much of the day. The facility feels so homey and also is extremely clean. The food is excellent. We know Bill is in good safe hands. The Heritage is a happy place to be.
My husband and I knew from the moment we stepped into the Heritage that this was the place to love and care for my mom. They go over and beyond to compassionately love not only her but my family as well- keeping us informed and make any changes mom needs as she progresses with her dementia. I can truly say they function as a family and embrace everyone in this environment with love and laughter. Thank you for all that you do for us consistently.
The time came for me to admit I could no longer care for my Love! Of course, I searched several options! When I found The Heritage Memory care, I just knew it was the right place! I have never been disappointed. My husband, Eric, has adjusted beautifully!! The Staff, from the managers down to the caretakers, are so loving, caring and attentive…..always! The facility is always clean and smells fresh! There are always activities for the residents! I would strongly recommend the Heritage Memory Care!
