I absolutely Love everyone at The Haven, they have been so patient with my parents and myself since my parents have been living here. EVERYONE is so nice and answer any questions we have quickly. The facility is really really clean, and my parents love the food the cooks are too notch. My mom and dad have been eating like piglets since they have been here. My mom loves sitting in the rose garden outside her Memory Care room and also sitting in the rocking chairs on the huge front porch. My dad loves the resident fur baby Harry he looks forward to his daily cuddles from him. I finally have peace of mind knowing my mom and dad are being cared for by loving, patient and very kind people who actually seem to really love their jobs that means alot to me!!! I have absolutely NO complaints…..I’d leave a 10 review if I could.
As a healthcare professional, I conduct some of my nursing visits within this facility. Because of my job I am in and out of these types of facilities all over south Atlanta. The Haven and Newnan is incredibly well run by compassionate, caring, professional professionals, and I would feel very comfortable having one of my loved ones living there. This place is so cool. They even have a little black dog named Harry Potter that roams all the halls and loves up on the residents. A friend from church and I visited The Haven in late September for the first time. When we arrived, we checked in with a staff member and chatted with several residents who came and went in the common area while waiting to meet our friend. During our hour-long visit, two separate staff members came by our friend's apartment to bring or remove something requested. Both were chatty and the resident seemed happy to see them. The hallways were clean and bright, and the one apartment we were in was quite clean and orderly as well. The facility also had a welcoming front porch for sitting and chatting after our visit.
I truly enjoy visiting The Haven at Newnan to see my hospice patients. Jodi and Angela have consistently provided excellent care to both our patients and the hospice staff. The ladies and gentlemen who work here are like family. I love witnessing the activities the residents participate in and the strong sense of community.
