The Hamilton is an exceptional option when browsing Senior Living Communities in Yorktown VA. They have 2 sister locations and are affiliated with rehabs/long-term-care facilities, which offers you or your loved one the ability to "age in place" without having to relocate when care needs elevate. The Hamilton is clean, bright, has spacious suites/apartments, and many common areas for Residents to socialize.
If you want plenty of opportunities to socialize and see the sights, Kirstie is an incredible asset to the Hamilton! This community is close knit and always has something going on in a clean and bright environment. I always enjoy my time here!
My brother (age 67) was failing in health after years of alcohol abuse. When discharged from a rehab facility he was labeled "failure to thrive". He's been at Hamilton for 4 weeks and he is a new person. He's eating again (loves the food selection) and taking his meds on a schedule. He's told me the staff is so friendly and helpful. His studio is clean, modern and well appointed. The director and staff were so responsive to me when coordinating his transfer to the Hamilton. I just can't say enough good things!
We highly recommend The Hamilton Assisted Living Community in Yorktown. This facility excels at everything on a check-list for assisted living: - professional and personalized nursing and care by experienced staff that cater to the needs of the individual resident. - open and frequent communication with family members. - engaging activities that encourage friendship and communication between residents and cover a full range of hobbies, cultural enrichment, holiday themed events and just downright fun! - Nutritional meals that can be tailored to the resident’s specific likes and dislikes. - A clean, safe and comfortable facility with large rooms that can be personalized by each resident. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the Hamilton staff for the exceptional and loving care and kindness provided to my mother. Not only was she well taken care of, she enjoyed herself and all the activities scheduled (we even attended and enjoyed several events). The staff handled her end-of-life with compassion, honored her wishes, and provided us and other family members comfort during this difficult time.
