I had a loved one who stayed at this facility for a few months and i definitely would refer others. Everyone was kind and compassionate from the floor staff to administration. My loved ones needs were taken care of daily and when I had any concerns they were followed up with almost immediately. The place was clean, however the food was just adequate. With that being said I give a 4 star rating out of 5.

My mother had a nice stay! She enjoyed the food and she is very picky. After discharge, Maggie followed up several times to check on my mother. She really was very caring and concerned. Great care!
The staff are worked to the bone! Run ragged, they try to do the best they can. However, this is an old, run down dilapidated facility with very old, incontinent patients. Foul smells, old equipment, rusty parts and yucky bathrooms. Pray to God you don’t end up living out the last days of your life here.
The Grove took very good care with my mom. Barb, Jonathan(made her day) Maria and Kim were some of her favs. They also kept our family in the loop.
Incarcerated prisoners receive better treatment and cleaner environments. The staff put a prisoner ankle bracelet monitor on my mother as soon as she arrived. All exits, including marked fire exits, were locked with no mechanical override. Any person exiting cannot leave without a staff member unlocking and opening a door. Doorways were not set for wheelchair access - residents and staff smoked cigarettes outside the door causing tobacco smoke clouds for anyone entering or exiting. The parking lot, road, and facility were in disrepair. Junk, equipment, or other objects were under tarps outside, piled up in rooms inside, and visible through windows of all buildings. The main house is unmaintained with a broken and no accessible porch, exposed, rotting wood, and no paint. The back buildings were also in disrepair. Except for the cars in the gravel and the smoking staff hovering in doorways, the compound appeared as dilapidated abandoned buildings.
