I've been a long term resident here for over 3 years and this will forever be my second home. I am on the best floor in the facility and my nurses and aids take care of me like family. Pt is great here some of the best in dutchess County! And the customer service is a hundred percent satisfactory. I could not have asked for a better concierge Alexis! She truly cares for her residents and she goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything that we need!

I love the people here. They take good care of me. The staff is amazing they work really hard, especially our social work team, physical therapy and administration. Any time I need help my concierge Alexis is there every step of the way. She's very kind and she goes above and beyond for all the residents. I can't wait to start my new life soon but I will always miss my second family at the grand
Very clever how this place avoided a massive lawsuit… they had a bed available for my dad, but then spoke to me and I, in order to properly advocate for my father, informed them they would need to provide a sign language interpreter because he’s Deaf. They said they’d need to speak to a supervisor, then they called me back and said they would give him a dry erase board to communicate, to which I said no, that’s not a sign language interpreter. They said they didn’t have one there, so I said right… you’d need to hire one from an outside agency; I’m happy to give you the name of said agency, and hiring one or providing one would be imperative because that is his basic right and protection under ADA law. She said she’d call back before 4 PM that day. Come 3:45, I still hadn’t heard from her, so I called and left a message to say there is a virtual option called VRI because hiring a live interpreter can be costly. Didn’t call me back that day, or ANY DAY AFTER THAT. Completely ignored me and the hospital social worker for days upon days and then suddenly contacted the social worker saying they didn’t have an available bed. What happened to the one you had when you were first contacted???? Did you realize that providing an appropriate mode of communication for my father's rehab would cost you too much money and filled the spot meant for him? I'm so angry, hurt, saddened and sickened by the inability to do the right thing for someone in need. Don’t bother posting an insincere response to this.
I love the aids I have. I been on the 3rd floor for 1 week and I already feel better. I plan to leave in a few months after therapy which is also amazing. My concierge Alexis has been amazing to me. She always answers my needs and makes sure things get done. I'm happy I chose to come here and the activity department makes sure I stay happy and active
The grand at river valley is the best place for daycare. Our facility offers substantial care and we make sure we do our best to work together sufficiently as a team. We have an impeccable customer service team and our transportation unit is top of the line. If anyone has any interests in adult daycare please consider the Grand you will not regret it
