Ambience,Service,everything designed to make life for Seniors the best it can be.They have their own theater.They have guest rooms for visiting family-friends.A private bus and taxi service.activities galore.The grounds are Ritz Carlton gorgeous. No Jeans or tacky shorts allowed here. The only negative thing I can say is the meals are institutional and lack taste.That is a recent change. If you can afford it get on the move in waiting list now.

I am 34 years old and have worked at Glenridge for 7 years now. I started in Dining Services and worked my way up to the Life Planning Department last year. They have alot of opportunity for growth and to excel to different departments with hard work. We have all departments imaginable from Dining, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Grounds, Transportation, Fitness Center, Physical Therapy & all Higher Levels of Care for when you need Assisted, Skilled & Memory down the road. I didnt know CCRC's were even a thing until I had a good friend refer this job to me. It has been one of the best job's I have had in my young adult life. I feel blessed for this job and it has taught me a tremedous amount of maturity. I am happy to see our members thriving and living their best life stressfree. It's impressive when you see our members riding their bikes, walking around the campus, running and staying active and fit. All members are very sweet and feel like family after awhile. Positivity with managers and members have been one of the biggest reasons I have stayed this long.
If there is inhumane disrespectful people , incompetent zero . It's a big name full of everything nad amd everything fake . Everything is actually unsafe for your lovely elders. Disrespect is the number one value here
The facility has had multiple scabies outbreaks that are never treated appropriately. The food they serve is appalling. The cleaning in the facility is pretty much non existent and most of the residents live in filthy rooms. I complained multiple times to managers about poor cleaning, and scabies issues. It was ignored for a year . They really just want employees who come and play blind to the multiple issues at this facility. Management is rude and lacks respect for employees. One of the managers has multiple write ups in HR from floor employees, but she continues to work there and bully the staff. Also members complain about rude nursing staff and they let the behaviors continue. Feel sorry for the patients living there. Keep searching!! They paint the picture of glitz and glamor...it's really nothing like that.
I have lived The Glenridge for almost 7 years, and feel that it was one of the best decisions of my life! It is a warm, welcoming and caring place and has a real sense of community! It is also one of the safest places on earth, and we are all so grateful that during this pandemic, no one is allowed on campus without screening at the security gate, which includes taking everyone’s temperature. Many of the residents are involved with organizing socially distanced events for the enjoyment of all. This past weekend a wonderful model sailboat Regatta was held by the Glenridge Model Yacht Club, and there were not only tents and chairs , but ice cream, watermelon and cold bottled water were provided! A great event!!! For anyone who is looking for secure and happy living on a beautiful campus, I highly recommend The Glenridge! Everything is done for you, and you can just enjoy life!
