Two months ago we had the unfortunate experience of both elderly parents becoming hospitalized, then requiring Rehab, then needing to transition to possible long term care at the same time. I cannot say enough about the management and entire staff at The Gardens in Monroe. We were guided and helped through a very confusing process which made our difficult decisions much easier during an already challenging time. Our parents have and continue to receive top notch care each day by compassionate and attentive professionals who know each patient by name and history. They receive delicious, nutritious well planned meals and are encouraged to participate in a multitude of activities and special events daily. We are always kept well informed through family meetings on their progress and any questions are readily answered. We were encouraged to see that most staff have longevity there in their careers which says a lot about the way they are treated by their employer. Lastly, it is easy to see that the leadership sets a very positive example of respect that flows down to all who work there and that meant the world to us. Staff who are there truly care and enjoy doing what they do and it is evident by the manner in which our parents and family are treated. We could not have been more pleased with the care that my dad received at Monroe Gardens. Everything from nursing care, physical therapy, menu choices and administrative assistance was outstanding. From the moment you enter Monroe Gardens they treat you like family and their attention to their patients is remarkable. My dad had been in several inpatient rehabilitation places and Monroe Gardens was so far more superior than the other three we had him in over the years it was not even close. I would highly reccomend!
Outstanding facility. What separates this place from others is the staff. Every person we have dealt with has been wonderful. And we have 2 family members there so my sister and I have interacted with a lot of them. It started with Chuck and continued every step of the way. The care my family receives is kind, considerate and compassionate. Thank you all.
My father is a patient in rehab here. Literally within a minute of arriving, he was met with care and respect by his medical team. The level of care has not diminished at all during his time. The doctors, therapists, nurses, aides, and operational staff are always available to both Dad and out family and keep us updated on his progress. They think of everything here for the care of their patients. Small things such as having lunch served to him an hour early as they knew he was going for tests and didn't want him to wait until her returned. Dad was in a different rehab hospital where the care level was so poor we transferred him out. I wish we have known about the Gardens sooner. Thank you to everyone at the Gardens. I am able to relax better knowing Dad is being taken care of the way we want. You do a wonderful job!
A great experience at The Gardens for an elderly family member. Staff is kind, considerate, responsive and communicative. Have had great experiences with director of admissions, nursing manager and the social worker. The PT/OT area has been incredible to work with. All staff are very knowledgeable and very patient. Overall, thrilled that we switched to the Gardens for rehab.
