This place has come a long way!!! Years ago I worked at St Mary's so I thought I would be familiar with the place...and I dreaded putting any loved one there!! Until now......WOW!!! It's it own little community without having to go outside!! They have so much to offer for all those who reside there along with those who visit! They have a library, coffee shops, chapel, lounge areas, snack shop, therapy, sense stim room... I'm sure there's more that I don't know about yet. The rooms are cozy and they make you feel at home. Its nice knowing if care needs to be increased or decreased the individual can stay in a familiar environment without moving to a complete different facility. Absolutely EVERYONE I and my loved one have encountered treats EVERYONE as if they are their own mother/father/grandparent... SUPER nice, caring, quick to respond to any requests, answers questions that are understood. My ONLY complaint is the cost for assisted living. It's SUPER EXPENSIVE...and insurance won't cover any of it! It's NOT exactly F.V. fault...after all the employees have to get paid along with everything else! That's something to be taken up with politics!!! I'm relieved knowing my loved one is WELL taken care of. I wouldn't want them anywhere else. There is limited availability for assisted living...even a waiting list...that says A LOT right there!!!
