My original thoughts from 2016: Decent accommodations, awful neighborhood rules and regulations. Post COVID review: I was amazed at the safety precautions The cottages took to keep their residents alive - they went above and beyond the state and federal regulations, even moving some of their essential staff onto the campus entering a lockdown together, this alone greatly reduced the likelihood of employees bringing it with them to work. This place helped keep my Silent Generation parents alive through this pandemic. 50 stars! as ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ honestly doesn't do them justice.

We've been here for over two years! THe place is wonderful. We live in one of the cottages and it's excellent! Our snow (too much of it this Winter) gets plowed regularly. THe sidewalks are cleaned at about the same time. The staff, especially Jennifer and Natalie, are constantly in touch with us letting us know what's going on within the complex and outside (like Cottonwood Road construction). They always seem to have inside and outside events to keep us entertained. Last night we had free tickets to the Jenison Performance Center's presentation of Mary Poppins! Last week we had a performance at the Lodge by the GR Symphony brass section.
We had to move out of our home and have less work to do and have a level place to live because of the illness of my husband. My husband died only 10 weeks after we moved here and my neighbors were awesome. I could never have enjoyed a community like this where we had been and now I have activities and neighbors and it is the best place possible for me.

Wonderful housing for people over 55. Very nice independent living cottages with other options available if declining health is involved .
