Transferred from hospital on 5/14. Really nothing going on until about 5th day in, then physical therapy and occupational therapy every morning. They had me in as cardiac, although there was no dramatic cardiac event. Main reason for gping to rehab was pulmonary, but no real work done on that. Couple excellent chats with respiratory therapist but that wss it. They basically just came in one day and said to try to go without oxygen. So not a lot of value. Food was always cold, even when I went down to dining room and little care given to food requirements. I.E. diabetic but morning meal saw frosted flakes, french toast with syrup, etc. What I could stomach cold was fairly tasty. Staff was efficient but rarely saw them unless med time, very little communication, had to find out info on my own. Supposed to be a conference about 3 days in to plan care approach. Mine was on day 8 or so and just planned my discharge. Appears to be lots of unhappy staff in all areas, constant chatter about grievances. Incredibly loud and constantly noisy day and night. No attempt to lower volume or limit chatter after 10pm. Never got more than a couple hours straight sleep the entire time. Discharged 5/26.
We had to rush my father in law out of this place to the emergency room. The doctor at the ER said he would've passed away that night if we didn't bring him in. The staff neglected him to the point that he had sores after only being there 4 days. He also had developed infections and they ignored all of his symptoms. If your loved one can't speak up for themselves, do not put them in this place.
My grandmother Evelyn Greer Smith resides here and she is given the utmost care at this facility. Everyone is very attentive and she does not miss any care. This is an excellent facity
Horrible. Did not help me when I called for the bathroom at 3:00 AM until 7:00 AM. Then told me that I didn't put my light on. DON'T LIE TO MY FACE!!!
