The care that I witnessed from RCC Nicole Brown has been absolutely amazing at the community. During the time of the community being without a nurse, she provided the residents with the utmost care and attention. We specifically worked together and I noted how instrumental she was in getting patients the proper level of care they needed as well as advocating for the residents to have everything they needed and deserved in the way of care and advocacy. She worked long hours and even when not officially at work. She is a joy to work with and really shows great care and interest for the residents. I am confident that as long as she is there residents will be taken care of very well and also, the clinical team with the new nurse will be amazing.

Don’t do it!!! This facility has been the worst management and leadership ever. My person was “missing three times” in a supposedly safe lock down community. Broken doors and equipment. Elevator not working. Wheelchair clients can’t move freely and guest like me having to walk up and down flights of stairs. She went missing , she walked out that building into dangerous drop area off area in the rear or side of the building. She return or “was found” with a broken arm , Could have been killed or missing and no one knows anything. Nothing!!!!!! The Director and Business Manager called the POLICE on me, a guest, the one that chose to pay them over $5,000 a month to assist in caring for my loved one. I really thought I trusted these people. Very soft spoken, appearing warm and friendly. Noooooooooooo, stay away. It has been a dark, evil experience. The Director and the Bus. Mgr. called me to harass, bully and retaliate for me putting my concerns about the quality or should I say “no quality” of care they were providing. My loved one was not receiving prescribed medications, we noticed injuries that no one could explain or the Director documenting false info and telling me that’s what she was going to do as if I was her employee. We are talking about my loved one lady. They didn’t have a nurse on staff for more than 3 months , they made sure to let me know they have one now, as if ALL this building issues are only about a nurse. Ha, but it’s too serious to laugh about any of this. My family, , your family anyone there did not and may currently Not be receiving wound care, medications, staff training. No elopement plan, no service care plans . The even refused their own residents right policy when i requested a copy of service records as it states 3 months now and still nothing. BUT they gave me a bill!. The staff openly talks about residents not receiving care and extreme wounds to their bodies. I didn’t see but one lady stuck in bed a whole year. Imagine her wounds. Sorry to her family! After speaking with me on the phone when I decided my loved one WAS NOT SAFE there. and we wouldn’t be returning . I put them on notice in on Feb 15, 2025. They’ve yelled at me, refused to return my money, hung up the phone in my face. Ridiculous people skills. The director , Bus. Mgr, HR persons made a “FALSE” police report on me. They hung up the phone from me and actually called “The Police” and said my loved on was missing. They maliciously made false claims. The police made documentation of it. Public record. All this reporting and They did nothing but cover it up when she really was really missing in their facility. They to this day have refused me rights to medical records, refused to return my money after we’ve exited that building weeks ago. Refused me a copy of elopement plan , refused my request for service plan. But again , they continue to harrass me and threaten me about a bill and this company actually owes me double what I’m requesting. I was prepared to volunteer to do Bingo on Mondays, bought a beautiful set with wood cards and all. Have a mechanic come check out their bus that doesn’t run haven’t seen that bus move in over 4 months. Getting the bus fixed is “not in the budget”. Assist in the building as a sitter for free with residents that may have no one come in to visit and this is how they’ve torn us down, my families safety, reputation, our character. I know who we are wanted you to know who “they are”. Corporate is the same. They don’t follow policy either. I reached out to them three times . Their policies says someone would contact me within 7 days. Hadn’t heard a word. Same business practices and this finalized us moving forward and letting ALL of Metro city Atlanta, Smyrna , Vinings know this facility and their corporate office DO NOT honor their own policies and procedures. How they be trusted with the care and safety of anyone. Especially your love during this time that you’re already unsure, already challenged and struggling with the idea of placing your loved one in a facility to start with.

My parents room was kept clean and it was spacious which was a huge upgrade from his residence before this. the staff are mostly pleasant. Some care very much while others meh. Billing was a nightmare, they over charged me for three months even though I sign a year fixed rate when moving in. Food is fine. they are getting 3 stars because of how my dad and I were treated once he started going down hill and broke his hip. (bed ridden) whenever i visited after that and the staff saw me theyd be quick to say oooo we were just about to feed him.. which never made me feel good. They have not much training on care for injuries, my dad got a bed sore and they didn't notice it until hospice brought it to their attention.. which denial set in and saying oh that was not there this morning. My dads death... staff no tact. i got a call at midnight saying my dads oxygen level was 3% and that's not good. (I knew my dad was transitioning)I came of course and the weird behavior continued. giving my dad a drop test by lifting his arm multiple times, yelling into his ear saying wake up , shaking his chest. they stopped when i told them he is transitioning. Also when I told them his body was loosing warmth, they denied my claims saying its just cold in the room. the top of the great experience was when the hospice nurse requested they change him so hell be clean for the funeral home,,,, while changing him the lady asks with a cheerful demeanor soo how's (parents name) doing??? I reply not good like what. so i left before he died and the call the next morning was the words... he didn't make it. lol yea like what also couldn't take my parents dresser home after their passing because my husband found a dried human feces pile in one of the drawers. They are ok.. BUT VISIT> ALWAYS VISIT WHEN YOUR LOVED ONE IS IN ANY ASSITED LIVING. ALSO CORPORATE IS HORRIBLE>>> one star. calling them made me feel like it was a shell business and not real how they conducted themselves..
