Bristal is an amazing place. Our father has been at 2 other senior assisted living centers and this one is by far the best. The place is beautifully appointed, the rooms and facilities are specifically designed for the residents to access everything easily. Dining options on many floors and food is pretty good for a senior assisted living home and we can easily just join in for a meal in the lovely main floor cafe or on dad’s floor. They have plenty of activities and trips to attend that he’s done more while he’s been here than most of his dedicated work/life. What makes this senior assisted living place exceptional is the great staff, their personal attention and friendship with each resident and their genuine care for what my dad personally needs. Most of the team knows my dad, they know what he likes and what he needs, what he loves to eat as well as what he should or should not eat so much. The Bristal team is proactive, collaborate well together and they are pretty responsive to us. Tei at the front desk is amazing. Whenever appropriate, staff will share their direct contact information with us so we can communicate directly to figure things out. We’ve never experienced this kind of customer service and attention to detail before. My dad’s favorite aide on his floor is Alecia Ford. She’s amazing with him and she knows just how to work with him to support him and get him to do the things he needs to do. She’ll even reach out to us if dad needs something. We know how aides have to juggle taking care of many residents at the same time but they also make a point to let the team figure things out so that my dad gets taken care of by his fav Alecia whenever it’s possible. We do have to communicate with Bristal occasionally on what dad needs and how he needs it, but the team steps up, collaborates with us until we figure it out. They are attentive and they follow through. My dad is happy, in great condition and has fewer health incidents here. We saw a picture of him on the day he moved in to Bristal a couple of years ago. Today dad looks happier and he actually looks more vibrant and healthier. We attribute a good deal of this to the amazing team and the great care he gets here. 😊

I have visited a friend at The Bristal several times, and each time I have been so impressed with everything from the entrance and warm welcoming reception staff, the cleanliness and beautiful flowers, the lovely lighting, and the rooms and facility throughout are splendid and very comfortable. The food, including the wonderful ground floor restaurant, where invited guests are welcomed is delicious and healthy. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the caring staff who are upbeat and always accommodating. Congratulations, and keep up the good work!
Compared to other facilities I have went to for information The Bristal Assisted Living at York Avenue is by far the best, The reception received there from the Receptionist Tay at the front was very amazing, I then spoke with the marketing department and oh boy she was even better. I also had the opportunity to have a moment with the ED Ryan and overall, they are 10/10 for me. I have since told my friends about them.
I recently visited, and I must say that it's a fantastic assisted living facility. The staff is incredibly professional, kind, and empathetic, and they provide top-notch care to their residents. I had the pleasure of interacting with two employees, Jenny and Melanie, who went above and beyond to make my experience at The Bristal even better. They had a great rapport with the residents and were so patient and kind with them. I could see that they genuinely care about their well-being and go the extra mile to make them comfortable. Their positive attitude and warm personalities made me feel welcome and at ease. I highly recommend The Bristal's York Avenue location to anyone looking for a top-notch assisted living facility. Jenny and Melanie are shining examples of the amazing work being done at The Bristal, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have interacted with them during my visit.
The Bristal has far exceeded all of our expectations in the level of professionalism and amazing care for my Dad in their Reflections Program. From the initial contact to the admissions and from Day 1 we have been so pleased with everything and everyone on staff. I cannot express enough how great this experience has been for my Dad as well as our family. From the Executive Director to the front desk staff, the Case Manager, Clinical staff, Director of Reflections, all of the Aides, Activities Director and even the Kitchen and Housekeeping staff everyone goes out of their way everyday to make this a positive experience. I have never met a more compassionate staff that truly care about their residents and treat them with respect and dignity. My Dad participates in the painting and musical activities and exercise programs. The staff is so engaging with the residents making them always feel welcome to join in. They take the time to plan special activities to bring the residents together. I must also mention the quality and variety of nutritious food served as well. Overall I cannot say enough about how positive this experience has been for our family. I truly feel like they care so much the staff has become part of our family.
