Our family was initially concerned about finding the right place for both, given their different needs at this point in their 65-year marriage. However, The Blake provides compassionate and attentive care for both parents. The Blake gives us peace of mind and provides our parents with a fulfilling, dignified lifestyle. Our family visited several times before our parents became residents. Every staff member is welcoming, kind, and patient with our many questions. Haley G. led our eight-person move-in meeting with aplomb and gracefully addressed every concern. Thank you for easing the way during this transition. Also, Maribel makes delicious salads!
My Mom was the 2nd person to move in The Blake when it was new. It has been a great place for her. She has made great friends and always has a lot of things to do. The room is wonderful and the food is really good. I never have to worry about her. The workers are so nice and they take good care of her .
My little lady I work for moved here a week ago tomorrow and WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE, the staff is AWESOME, the food is AMAZING, and she is a very picky eater so for her to say the food is good, it must be very good. This place is like a breath of fresh air!!! I also just wanted to add since we have been here a month now, the management is amazing, anytime I need something they are there to help, and never give me a hard time. Also the director Kim always take time out her day to come and check on the residents in memory care several times throughout the day. Kristy never hesitates to help me with something if I need it for my little lady. I love it here at the Blake I’m excited and happy to come here everyday.
Our mother moved into The Blake at Waco more than two years ago. Her experience has really been great. She has essentially everything she needs onsite…her apartment, three squares, medical care, supervised therapy, hair care, social activities, exercise opportunities, laundry facilities, friendship and more. She’s generally been very pleased with her decision to join the community at The Blake.
