We cannot thank the entire staff of the Belvedere enough for the wonderful, compassionate care you all gave to my brother. Sadly, his advanced Alzheimer’s Disease changed him from the warm and funny person we knew him to be, into someone who became increasingly difficult to deal with. Yet, throughout his long, slow journey downward, the wonderful staff here showed him kindness and love. Everyone helped make his final months more tolerable for him, and for our family. Your facility and services are top-notch, and provided a clean and safe environment for all the residents. The staff all seems to enjoy each other, and their happiness carries over to their obvious love for the residents. The overall atmosphere comes across as a homey, caring place for everyone. I love the staff in this community! From the ownership to each team member they ensure loved ones are happy and well cared for. I have seen many positive changes since new ownership has taken over and this is a lovely building with engaged residents! I would not hesitate to recommend my future clients here. The families I have here now are very happy !
The Belvedere is truly a hidden gem! The building is beautifully maintained and above all else, the care team is the absolute BEST! You can feel it as soon as you walk in.
Our Mom moved to the Belvedere in May, 2019. She is 92 years old, uses a rollator. Three out of four of us (Mom’s kids) live out of state. She has been remarkably healthy during this challenging year which we attribute to the great care that she receives. We’ve also been impressed by the care that the Belvedere has taken around COVID, and that no resident has gotten COVID to-date. The Belvedere staff/team, from day one, have been very cooperative and responsive. They don’t just say the right things like “We want to make your mom happy, comfortable” – they actually do what we’ve suggested and also listen well to Mom. Our Mom has several medical conditions. The Belvedere has done an excellent job of coordinating Mom’s care internally and with external providers. We like the small size of the facility as it allows for individual care/attention. The building is very attractive and feels homey. The food is good – no small deal! They ask for input to please residents. We appreciate Belvedere’s efforts to keep communication with families. We have quarterly family conferences to discuss Moms care and address any questions. They are always professional, patient and pleasant... In summary, our family is pleased to have Mom at the Belvedere and anticipate the relationship continuing for however long Mom is with us.
My mom went there after being at Rae-Ann Suburban and she was at The Belvedere for 3.5 months, The staff was very kind and compassionate. They worked with her to gain strength and confidence so she could go back home. They accomplished this and at 94 she is back home living by herself.
