Fountains is a wonderful safe beautiful place to live. Independent living is a great value. From Suzette and Weslee to every staff member it is wonderful. They are kind, professional. Dining is great, kitchen staff really exceeds beautiful delicious choices. Housekeeping is great. Maintenance staff and paint crew are always maintains a high use facility. Last but not least is front desk ladies are pleasant and helpful to residents . Exec Dir is accessible and open minded. Great views, good location, safe place. Thank you all!

I just had the most wonderful interaction with Takisha Butler, the Director of Business Operations for The Barclay at Pasadena. She is extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly, kind, and compassionate. My situation is very complicated, and she went out of her way to reassure me and put me at ease. Her level of expertise was immediately apparent, as was her philosophy of doing whatever is best for each family and their unique situation. After suddenly losing my dad, I recently found myself in charge of my mom's care and finances, and life is very overwhelming right now. I have to use a few different accounts to pay my mom's bill for the facility, and I was concerned this would be a difficult, stressful process. But Takisha could not have made it easier for me. She was so accommodating and just a delight to work with. Thank you for making my life a little easier. I am deeply grateful.
We helped my 85 y.o. father recently move into Elance at Pasadena independent living and we couldn't be happier. The process was extremely smooth and hassle-free. The complex is well maintained and in an outstanding location, right on the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rent includes 2 meals a day and is an excellent value for the price. We highly recommend Elance.
As we arrived for our tour, the staff was extremely helpful, especially Amber who spent a great deal of time with us. During each part of the tour the staff was eager to help and answer all of our questions. The most exciting part of our tour was seeing a group of residents playing a virtual bowling game. As we entered the room, one of the residents greeted us with such enthusiasm exclaiming that Elance is so much fun and has certainly changed her life for the better. This was certainly time well spent.
I want to commend this community for being so wonderful! My mother just moved in and they have all been so wonderful to her. I live out of state and work for a retirement community and I want everyone to know that the team here went above and beyond from my mother’s first call to them. She had no help from family and they jumped in like family! They picked her up, more than once, talked to me, they handled everything with such compassion and kindness! The apartment was perfect upon her arrival with a basket of fruit and welcome card waiting! The sales team ( Denise and Wesley) are the best! I’m looking forward to visiting soon and thanking everyone personally for their help. My mother is home ( what a beautiful view)and she is so happy! Thank you all for taking the time she needed.
