My grandma has been a resident at Ashford for a couple years now. The staff is great! She is happy and comfortable. She lives in the independent living section so she doesn't require a high level of care. They keep the place clean and are very diligent about checking for colds and fevers before visitors are allowed in. They usually have a few celebrations each year where family can come in and celebrate along side. We've been to the Easter celebration and the Halloween ones so far and had a blast. They really go all out!

In the 2.5 years my parent has lived there, rent has gone from $4,560 to as of 7/1/25, $6,273 per month. How they think people on a fixed income can afford increases every few months, I don’t know. My parent will have to move now and it’s just sad.
My grandmother is in memory care at Ashford Grove City. This facility is so poorly ran it is unbelievable. They are constantly understaffed, the residents are not fed breakfast on time, they are not showered, the facility is dirty. Our own family members are going in there every morning and evening to feed and bathe my grandma and make sure she gets safely into bed. All while the staff that did show up are lounging around (see picture). We have done everything we can by contacting the on site director, her supervisor, and even one step higher than that. There have been no changes. I would highly advise that you do not put your loved ones into this memory care facility.
If you want to pay to have your loved one take up space that is what you get at The Ashford of Grove City. All attempts to contact anyone with a level of authority will go unanswered no matter how many attempts you make to address concerns. The lack of communication from the facility is very disappointing. (Although you will get your monthly invoice on time.) Nobody cares. Staff members are quitting due to the way the facility is run. Only one nurse on staff most days. Hopefully, with new management the facility can turn itself around.
I'm truly disappointed with my experience at Ashford of Grove City. The management is horrible- manipulative, and disrespectful, and they talk to staff behind closed doors in an unacceptable way. It's no wonder that this place has a high turnover rate. The staff also shows a serious lack of professionalism. I've overheard team members talk about their colleagues in a highly disrespectful way, even in front of residents. Worse yet, I've noticed residents are often left unattended for - hours, with little to no attention paid to their well-being. It's shocking that this place is still up and running considering how poorly it was and still is being managed. The entire organization feels toxic, and it's clear that no one really cares about the residents or the quality of care being provided. This place is in dire need of new management and staff who value the job and the people they serve. Until that happens, I cannot recommend it to anyone. I'm praying for the residents who are there.
