We'll start with the floors always being sticky and gross. They increase prices without warning and then do not tell you what exactly for. They do not communicate at all, if you have questions about the care of your family members or finances they'll take months to get in contact with you. My grandmother, who is in Memory Care, never has her own clothes on, we have no clue where her clothes have gone. Nor are we aware of where her beautiful quilt and bedsheets went. Her dentures are missing, and her walker was broken for months. She is regularly not in her depends and has accidents on herself regularly We're likely moving her. It just doesn't seem like a good home for her anymore.

Food and service are slowly improving. Vegetables are no longer overcooked. Food is of better quality. New painting and carpet are welcome improvements. All things considered, I would say the Arbors is the best overall facility in the area.
My elderly uncle has been here a year and it has been a wonderful experience, especially in comparison to many other facilities. Unfortunately, the facility was purchased by a new management company, Grace Management, and they pretty well stink. Flat out lied to everyone about rent being raised when they purchased 4 months. Received the rent increase (over $300 a month) letter today. Activities are terrible now - absolutely no effort or monetary contributions to improve them from Grace Management, it's just "come and sit and chat", which the residents can do anytime. They have also stopped printing the daily bulletin, which included meals, activities (which are decreased), birthdays, jokes, etc. Now the residents are expected to read the menus on the television in the lobby, or on the chalkboard. Tell me, how many elderly folks do you know that LOVE to get their information via technology vs in print? Overall, I see the quality of services decreasing, while rent is increasing. I love the staff, I love the general vibe of the facility, and hoped to keep my uncle here for remainder of his life. Not sure we will be able to, or if it is a good value for the money now. I do NOT recommend Grace Management.
Food is poor. They run out of items all the time. cooks are often servers. Poor quality of food items purchased. Evening meal is usually sandwiches. New management, lots of promises, little real action. great location, nice apartments. Overpriced for food served.
The staff here seems to be caring and attentive, I only wish I could say the same for the management. They don’t return calls in a timely manner, and don’t respond to legitimate concerns over things such as whether or not medicines are being correctly administered. The food is average cafeteria fare, but is sold to the public as if it’s fine dining. The facility and grounds are beautiful and clean. To say I’ve been disappointed in the services would be an understatement.
