The Arbors, Port Warwick, is a fantastic community. And, I mean community. I moved my mother from the Bronx, NY, to be closer to our family for support. The staff are wonderful in remembering our names and always informing me when they don't see her, which shows concern for her well-being. The residents are all very friendly and exhibit happiness with the fellowship of other residents. The neighborhood square has frequent activities with cheerful people all about the community. The meals at the Arbors easily compare to those of fancy restaurants. The building inside and out are well maintained. The emotional challenge of where to relocate my dear Mom turned out to be a Herculean task. The reward is having her in a safe, caring, uplifting community close to family. I can't help but smile just walking in the building. My heart felt thanks to every single Arbors staff member. A job well done!

The Woman’s Club of Newport News hosted their luncheon today at The Arbors. We were pleased with the food, the staff and the entire experience. It is rare when every person on the staff goes the extra mile for you with a smile. Thanks to Amanda Lehto, Director and Chef Joshua Pittock. Our event was a big success thanks to everyone.
Elaine was patient, listened and the most gracious host. She shared ideas and options in a time where I was very emotional and uncertain. The Arbors is a wonderful place and the staff was so kind. I have toured many facilities and The Arbors was my favorite!
Great place to live. My FIL moved in and has so many friends and loves it. Food is great. I eat dinner with my FIL almost every week. Staff is great and friendly.
Very clean, wonderful welcoming and friendly staff, have very good food and activities. The staff is very attentive towards residents care and well being.
