Best memory care unit ever!! I highly recommend The Arbors. I can only speak to the Taunton one, but I'm sure the (very involved and not just profit-driven) owners are ensuring that all of their Arbors facilities are being run similarly and the residents are a priority. When my very reclusive and distant aunt needed to be placed into an assisted living facility quite suddenly, our family visited and investigated several places before deciding on The Arbors/Taunton. The entire staff were amazingly supportive and made the transition (almost) fun, but definitely way easier. My aunt has settled in nicely. She still thinks she's going home some day, but the staff encourages her growth and redirects her by taking her out walking each day, they take her on trips, and heck, she's got a better social life than me now! As for fees and costs, they are fair, and even lower than most others. The building and grounds are beautiful and it smells so clean and amazing in there. Given the state of affairs with the struggles of financing senior living options, The Arbors was willing to work with me while our dust settled financially and they were patient and kind. I know placing a loved one in a facility is hard enough, but trust me, you won't regret the decision to move them to The Arbors. I can only hope if I ever have to go into a nursing facility at some point, that I'll be lucky enough to get in there.

The Arbors is a wonderful assisted living community. The staff is wonderful and treats the residents with respect and care. There is a new chef at the dinning hall and the food is great. They have open dinning where the residents can choose there own lunch/dinner time. I highly recommend the Arbors if you are looking for assisted living for your loved one.
My mom is not an easy resident to care for. They are going above and beyond getting my mom into the groove of things there. The staff knows her difficulties and they are making sure all needs are met. Pattie Ricketts is just awesome. She was a big reason why we chose The Arbors. The activities are grand! Outtings, games, trivia, cooking, painting and the list goes on. I'm excited to see my mom thrive again.
From the family of Evie Berg, we thank everyone for the wonderful care given to our mom. She came to your facility scared and nervous; you all made her feel comfortable. It took her a little time to adjust to her new living situation; you made her feel welcome and helped her create new friendships. She was a picky eater; you showed patience toward her. When we were not able to be there, you were. She enjoyed her new "apartment" because it gave her the feeling of independence, which she really wanted. As the months went on and her illness became worse, we could see how much care was given to her and how much each of you showed your own emotions towards knowing her. You offered comfort to us as a family as we were grieving on her last days. Your Facility is beautiful, clean, fun, good food, and full of the kind people that an Assisted Living Community needs. Thank you from our hearts to yours.
After my dad passed unexpectedly, I had to immediately scramble to find somewhere for my mom to live, as she could not live alone. The staff at the Arbors were beyond helpful in this search. They were compassionate, informative, and willing to help and answer any questions I had. Having toured several facilities, I am so impressed with how easy they made the whole process. The facility itself is beautiful, and my kids love going to visit. The food is delicious. There are plenty of activities and outings to keep my mom busy. Could not have imagined a better place for my mom. Highly recommend!
