My elderly mother lived here for over two years. With any nursing home I think there are ups and downs, lots of adjustments to be made and get used to, its hard no matter what. With that being said, I can still say overall my mother's experience here was not great. I can say that some of the staff are amazing and the most wonderful people and caregivers. They do not get paid enough and are underappreciated, thus sadly many of them come and go. The overall care here is middle of the road, mostly due to the variety in staffing. Some are amazing, and others should not be in health care because they do not truly show care for the patients, treat them like human beings with feelings, etc. What really cemented this being a terrible experience for my mom were the owners and administrators, the way they run things and their bottom line, which is to cover their liabilities and make profit, in my opinion. Also, a group of her caregivers banded together to treat my mom in a way that made her feel less than human. This was accepted by staff leaders and treated as if it were the norm. Thankfully, she found a new place to live that takes great care of her. Sadly, she was forced to leave many friends behind whom she will never see again. They had become a pseudo family for her during her years there, this was and is still very traumatizing and sad for her. I would say if your loved one has a low need level, are cognitive, and have people nearby able to visit frequently this place is okay, but if they are medically fragile, high needs patient, don't have family around to visit and check in or have any conditions that could make them more medically needy in the future, then choose elsewhere.

I came here through agency I am giving 2 stars because the facility is very nice and clean. Cleanliness is not what makes a facility though it’s the staff. I see why this place has no staff, very unorganized and unprofessional. I asked the RN on duty for 10 hours for charting information so I can chart she finally tells me that I do not need to worry about the charting which concerned me because i know how much facilities want their charting done. To top it off their is a male staff aide here who kept coming down my hall watching me work he made me very uncomfortable to the point I had to ask him to please stay away and go back to his work area. I will definitely not come here for another shift again.
I’ve been waiting to write a review because pass place is my husband has had respite. They did OK at first and ended up doing terrible in the end. But the Anderson has done nothing but gotten better. My husband goes there once a month for respite he has Alzheimer’s really has no memory, and cannot eat himself or drink himself and his bed ridden. They have done such a wonderful job. He comes home the same as he left. They make sure he eats and drinks and is cleaned well. They answer the phone when I called to check on him, which other place is would not. Thank you to the administration staff for having my husband on a monthly basis for respite. This gives me my time to rest and be with my grand children and family.. it means so much to me that he’s well taken care of while he is there. Thank you, Larry’s wife Rosa
Everyone at The Anderson has been extremely welcoming to our family member. It has exceeded our expectations. Staff and administration are caring and very helpful to families during this transition. PT and OT group have been amazing. Making a difference in our family member's life! So happy we chose The Anderson.
I had my choice of multiple facilities for rehab and chose The Anderson based on several years of hearing nothing but positive feedback. The facility, the staff, the food, everything was excellent. Nikki and her staff of occupational and physical therapists are amazing. I dreaded PT, but they worked with me and had me released to go home much sooner than I ever expected. The Anderson exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
