The Ambassador of Scarsdale has been a wonderful place for my mother. Sarah who is the Director of the Keepsake Unit has a special gift. She is ver professional, kind and gentle. She understands that transitioning a loved one to an assisted living facility is very hard. Not only is Sarah great the entire staff so far has gone above and beyond to help my mother acclimate to her new home. The place is spotless, the food is great, the nurses check my mom every 20 minutes throughout the night while she sleeps. I cannot say enough positive things about The Ambassador. We are very grateful to have a facility like this in the area.

My parents moved into The Ambassador of Scarsdale 7 months ago, and are very happy there. What could have been a difficult transition was eased by the caring, respectful and attentive staff. From the administrative leadership throughout the whole onsite staff, there is a professional and personal approach to meeting the needs of the residents. I believe they truly care, and have the experience and intelligence to help people feel at home. The facilities are excellent- clean, comfortable and welcoming. The amenities are well planned and the services are first class. The fact that the Ambassador is a fully licensed facility gives peace of mind, and the physical therapy programs that are targeted to individual needs are effective. I couldn't find a better place for my parents, we are all happy with the decision to move there.
My mother moved in to the Ambassador back in September 2015, it has been a wonderful experience. We looked around at several assisted homes in the area and by far the Ambassador was the best place for our mom. The support that my family and I have received has been top notch. The staff is very friendly and understands my mother's needs. Overall the attention and services that my mother is getting exceeds our expectations.
The Ambassador of Scarsdale was the answer to our prayers. I am so grateful to everyone at The Ambassador for taking such good care of my wonderful mom! My mother lived alone in Florida for many years after my father passed away. Last year, we became concerned about her living by herself more than 1,000 miles away from us and worry, bordering on panic, began to set in. My friend told me about an evening she had spent at The Ambassador and I called on a whim. I spoke with Jean Dunphy. She kindly said I could come over after work and we talked and talked and talked although it was late. Not once did she look at the clock. Her kindness and compassion, sensitivity and knowledge were beyond exceptional. She really listened to my concerns and understood my anxieties. Well, I don’t have those anxieties anymore. My mother has been a resident at The Ambassador since before Thanksgiving. She is so happy and you can only imagine how happy her family is! I wish I could name every single person individually who has made this transition seamless and comforting for my mother, but I’d like to mention just a few who I have come to know. Jean is truly a gem and I will forever be grateful to her for helping me understand and frame this new time in our family dynamic. I have come to learn that she was right in everything she said! I met Kathy in the Fall at the Alzheimer’s Walk in White Plains and we connected immediately. Arlinda was so very helpful and kind to us in organizing mom’s transition to The Ambassador. Linda, with her boundless energy and effervescent enthusiasm makes each day full and interesting. My mom is participating in and enjoying all the varied programs and activities. Shannon is so sweet and goes out of her way to check on my mom. Joshy has been so compassionate and understanding in helping us navigate this new time in our lives. From the moment I walked into The Ambassador I was taken by the beauty and serenity of the building and the grounds. Obviously, a tremendous amount of thought and care went into the impeccable design and every detail was taken into account. But more important than the look and charm of a place is the quality of the people who work there. Each and every one of their staff has been warm, welcoming and responsive, not just to my mother, but to our whole family. I am so grateful that The Ambassador has created an excellent new home for my mother.
My parents recently moved to the Ambassador Scarsdale. It was a very difficult process for them and us. They required specific attention along with careful planning. The ordeal of moving was insurmountable to them. We were extremely impressed by the professional attitudes and attention to detail exhibited by The Ambassador Staff. Their assessment of my parent’s needs and subsequent execution of their care planning needs was impressive. Seldom does one see efficiency coupled with empathy and a fundamental understanding of the challenges of aging. Their Nurse Practitioner was extremely impressive. The Ambassador Scarsdale certainly gets it. Relieved, happy and well pleased with their experienced staff and kindness.
