The Terraces is a wonderful place, and the staff are incredible. Bree worked closely with me over what amounted to several months while I was searching for the right place for my Dad. She was very patient and kind. I looked at a lot of places and this was the only one that didn't feel pushy. They really care about the residents and families. Unfortunately, my Dad wasn't quite ready to make the move, but The Terraces is absolutely where we will go.

My mother lived at The Terraces of Roseville for 5 years, passing away this past week. When my mother needed them the most these past few months in hospice care they were there for her. The front desk staff was always helpful, responsive and patient. The kitchen and wait staff were always patient and attentive, and the food was varied, fresh and good. My mom needed more and more assistance as time went by and the pharmacy techs, and room aides were kind, patient, prompt and skilled. Housekeeping did the best they could, with my messy mom, and her messy dog, a challenge. She loved living on the dog park, with neighbor pups often visiting through her open patio door. She had many friends amongst the other residents. I thought the administration was flexible and understanding and did the best they could in challenging circumstances of covid, staff retention and such. I am grateful I chose The Terraces of Roseville to take care of my mom. Dan Fair Oaks, CA
After researching and visiting several places in the Sacramento/Roseville area, we felt The Terraces of Roseville would be the best fit for Mom. The positive energy from the staff and other residents was immediately felt. Her apartment, including a balcony, and the numerous outdoor spaces provided easy access to fresh air. The Terraces offer an abundance of different activities, which again brings residents together outside of dining. With the changing holidays, it was fun to see what additional activities were planned as well as the coordinated decorations. Unfortunately, Mom's health declined quickly the last month of her 5-month residency and she passed in the care of the staff at The Terraces and Sutter Hospice. We wish she would have downsized and moved into The Terraces sooner. We can't say enough about the care and love shown to Mom, but also support to the family. Mom felt the love and her transition was peaceful. Living at The Terraces gave Mom her independence and dignity and for the family there was nothing better than knowing your Mom was in caring hands and there were eyes on her. Many thanks to all the Staff at The Terraces of Roseville. The Family of Marian Baltazar
Awesome staff, great facility, and so very welcoming to new residents. There are some residents who have lived there for over a decade and since there are so many great activities to be involved in, there isn't a chance to get board. We love that our mom has a great place to live where she is not alone.
There was something about walking into The Terraces that felt different from the other properties I visited. There was energy and life. There was laughter. The staff were relational with one another. One could sense the camaraderie and friendship among them. Perhaps it's that way with the other facilities too, but it wasn't on display the way it is at The Terraces. My mother had a dog who was, of course, her best friend. The Terraces don't just allow pets, they have made marvelous accommodations for them. Central Park is also known as the dog park. It's located in the interior of the property with no outlets to the parking lot. The worst thing that could happen if one's dog got loose is it might wander through the hallways. Meaning, it is a completely safe environment. That's truly amazing! When we left that day she knew she wanted to live there. She wanted to live in a place where the people were friendly and her beloved Digger was welcome. So, whoever came up with the ambassador program is to be congratulated. I have to brag about the medical staff and how wonderful they have been to my mother. I feel a lump in my throat just thinking about it. Eva and Norma have changed my mother's life. They don't just provide care for my mom, they CARE for my mom. They "mother" my mother and that's what she craved and needed most of all. Eva has advocated for my mother with her Primary Care physician at Kaiser. Because of her unrelenting determination to improve my mother's quality of life, my mom has thrived at The Terraces. Norma has also become her friend. When they come to mom's apartment it feels more like a visit than a task. I know there are other med staff that come who also deserve to be recognized - I just don't know them personally. Mom is so blessed by the attention and care she receives but never has to ask for. I have not heard my mother say she is happy in decades. Well, she is happy now. She says it often. She literally said she has never been happier in her life. She lives with terrible pain, but she is surrounded by people who help her make the most of her life every day. She looks forward to meals because she sits among friends. She has enjoyed MANY special events because living a vibrant life is more than just a tagline at The Terraces. She's had her face painted at the circus (in the dining room). She's attended a wedding reception (In the dining room). She's watched hula dancers and singers, and a variety of other entertainment because the Vibrant Life director, Amanda, wisely plans so many wonderful events to happen in the dining room at meal times. Genius. Come for the food, stick around for the fun, right? I'll close with this. There are brand new Assisted Living facilities springing up like mushrooms all over town. They are much, much more expensive than The Terraces. But life there isn't better. There are many that are less expensive. But living there isn't living. I feel incredibly lucky to have found The Terraces for my mom. She is more than content. She is happy. And because a Vibrant Life is the mission of the entire staff I can feel proud of the place I chose for my mother. However long she lives ... she will be living her best life.
