As a frequent visitor to Tate Springs Health & Rehab, I’m always impressed by how clean and well-kept the facility is. The grounds are neat, the lobby is welcoming, and every hallway and room looks and smells fresh. It’s obvious the staff take great pride in their work. But what truly stands out is how friendly and caring everyone is. From the front desk to the nursing staff, I’ve always been greeted with a smile and kindness. It’s clear that the residents are not only well cared for — they’re genuinely loved. It’s a place that brings peace of mind.

Tate Springs Health & Rehab truly feels like a home away from home. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with kindness, comfort, and a sense of peace that puts your heart at ease. The staff go above and beyond to care for each resident with compassion and respect, and it’s clear they treat everyone like family. The environment is clean, cozy, and welcoming — not cold or clinical like many other facilities. You can tell this place is filled with love and laughter. If you're looking for a facility that combines quality care with a home-like atmosphere, Tate Springs is it.
Every time I walk into Tate Springs, I notice something special. The building feels bright, clean, and peaceful — like a place where people are truly cared for. It’s not just about how spotless everything is (though it really is!) — it’s the way the staff treat you. They’re always kind, smiling, and genuinely happy to help. As a visitor, that means everything. You don’t feel like an outsider here — you feel welcome. That kind of atmosphere doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from a team that cares, and it shows in every detail.
I recommend not choosing Tate Springs H&R for your family member, as I did. Based on some of the other reviews, it appears that something must have changed within the last 6 or so months. I chose this place because it has a homey feel, was clean, and was conveniently located for my mother’s friends. However, I disregarded a lot of things like their fast administrative turnover and the fact that their business manager was “wearing a lot of hats” (meaning stretched too thin to do a good job, in my opinion). Since I am not local, I had asked that hospice care check on my mother’s condition after her Saturday visitor had contacted me saying she was in the worst condition that she'd ever seen her. Hospice staff called and the facility nurse for my mother said she was doing fine, no changes. That evening I was called by hospice care to let me know my mother had passed away. The next morning, Sunday, I called to ask that her belongings be left in place until Monday morning so certain sentimental items could be collected and we’d donate her clothes to other patients in the facility. There were only three items wanted and two of them were gone by Monday morning. To add to this, both the business manager and the facility administrator/manager did not respond to my inquiries regarding the balance of my mother’s patient fund. I also pointed out the missing items to them. I tried several times over three weeks via email and voice messages to see how the patient fund would be handled. The agreement I signed stated any unused balance would return to her estate. I received no response from either of them to date (nearly 4 weeks). After all of this, I remembered a number of times that staff members used the same catchphrase that they “tried to call me” when there were no records of their calls on my phone. There’s more to tell than this but I’ll leave it at that. A bad and disturbing experience.
night and weekend staffing is terrible, what staff is there is very little help and are of little help when called on. There are also gaps in the rehab people, there are those who choose to lie when an incident occurs. My mom was improperly handled by her rehab lady and a CNA, was dropped once on her bed and once on her knees. It was reported she tried to get up on her own when in fact the two women didn`t have her belted when handling her and caused the issues. Find a better place to put your loved ones.
