I give a 1 star as this place is substandard for an Aged Care Village. All of the staff are lovely except for the rude, ignorant dark haired woman from Aveo Durack who is currently showing the new manager the ropes. Her manner is disgusting and absolutely rude to the point that she had a visitor in tears. Her obnoxious manner is disrespectful and certainly not what you would expect to see or hear at an Aged Care village. The other staff were apologising on her behalf as she is known to be extremely rude. My mother is in the village and is 85. She said the woman has been rude to her on a number of occasions too. I honestly do not know how you keep such lovely staff like David, Jit & Christine. This woman should be sacked and given the boot out the door. The new manager was standing there watching this woman belittle and speak inappropriately to the lady, and was extremely embarrassed by her attitude. I will be getting the Local Member and the Aged Care Minister involved with this abhorrent behaviour and abuse of our elderly. The residents of your village pay your wages and should be treated with the utmost respect, kindness and empathy. Appalling Aveo, just appalling.

Antonio, Karen and the whole team at Aveo Taringa went absolutely above and beyond for my mother. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely, connected and genuinely caring community, and can't thank them enough.
I commend Elle and Natasha (Taringa) for the excellent communication and information service regarding information for my mother Dawn. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
