The place is kept clean, the food is pretty good and my Mom seems happy. The most important thing is to see my Mom smile and I feel confident leaving her in their hands while I can’t be there. After 6+ weeks at Symphony, my family and I were VERY disappointed with the so-called “care” given to our dad. The food was mediocre to poor, so we had to bring in other food on many occasions so he could eat something decent. Several staff members were obviously under-qualified and were clearly unprofessional. They did NOT follow through with basic requests. Too many times we were told “later”, “I forgot”, “I don’t know”, and failed to do anything about it. We as a family were there EVERY day, and dad still received inadequate care. Symphony staff did NOT change his Depends for 4 straight days on 2 separate occasions! That’s disgusting, unhealthy, and unacceptable!! He was NOT showered the mere twice a week as we were told he would be. Dad was very upset with his treatment (and lack of) and wanted OUT. The staff even botched the handling of his only blood draw, which was a necessity for an important appointment with a kidney specialist. Lab results never made it to the doctor due to the NEGLIGENCE of Symphony staff. Thus, the appointment was cancelled. Symphony Tri-Cities has MANY poor reviews from families and individuals who experienced many disturbing and problematic issues. POOR MANAGEMENT is mentioned many times, and we totally agree. Patients pay for and deserve much better care! There is absolutely NO WAY we will ever recommend this sorry place to anyone!!
I love how big and spacious the rooms are, other places I have seen are much smaller and cramped... also OMG the variety themes & decor down the different halls offers a soft touch. With new builds and modern designs there is a sense of coldness, but Symphony TriCity feels like home. There is this awesome memory lane spot that offers all kinds of cool history to some surrounding towns with old photos to reflect back on memories. Pretty cool spot for ALL care needs; rehab to home, long term care, hospice, respite. TriCity also offers Assisted living and memory care, a one stop shop for all your care for those in need.
The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive to her needs. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and feels more like a community.My aunt enjoys the daily activities and has made several new friends. We have peace of mind knowing she’s in a safe, supportive environment. Highly recommend!
This place is a joke and the state of Michigan should do a much better job assessing their abilities. They neglect their patients they don’t do proper PT. All the “good” reviews must have been paid for. They released my dad with out even proper notice to my mom. They weren’t even denied from the insurance yet. The state will be called to investigate this facility. Horrible horrible. Please Don’t allow your insurance to pay for this nonsense. It’s a joke and they should be ashamed of themselves to call themselves a rehabilitation home.
