This place isn't good. They don't communicate, they lie, and don't follow simple instructions. One of the workers here (a male) was aggressive towards our father, and NOTHING happened to him. The only person that was absolutely amazing was Andy! She was very sweet to not just my father but to everyone else. It seemed like Clinton and Alicia only wanted to drug my father so he's all drugged up like everyone else on the 4th floor. I guess they aren't used to our family coming here almost everyday, and are not used to having families be on point. The ONE STAR IS FOR ANDY SHE WAS AMAZING!!

Sunrise Rockville is a tremendous facility caring for the elderly. The staff is welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and most of all - comforting. They are fully equipped to care for all levels of need. Megan Pryor, Sales Manager, is the absolute best.
I chose Sunrise Rockville to provide end-of-life care for my father, who was diagnosed with end stage dementia, after having read positive reviews and ratings across different senior care platforms. Sunrise at Rockville has indeed hold up to those reviews and their reputed values. The executive director (Emily Molloy) and Director of Sales (Nikita Mutter) warmly welcomed me for the information tour and were sympathetic and understanding when I expressed my needs and concern, and provided transparency for the logistics and price. After my father moved in, the nursing and caring team have been wonderfully attentive and supportive every day to my father, me and my mother for the two months of my father's tenancy there until my father's passing yesterday. I am particularly grateful to the member of the nursing and caring team--Beatrice, Jamal, Monica, Silvia, and Connie who have provided empathetic emotional support and wisdom that made this agonizing and difficult time bearable. All the members of the Sunrise at Rockville team are caring, attentive and compassionate to all the residents and made this place truly a home. Rest assured that your loved ones will be well taken care of here.
My wife has lived at Sunrise of Rockville for over 10 years, both in assisted living and memory care. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and facility. It has been exactly what my wife needed through her various stages of Alzheimer’s, and she has loved it there in all respects, but especially the loving care by the caregivers.
In the final days of our loved ones life the home sent her to the hospital without the advance directives thus prolonging her suffering. In addition they then added charges in excess of $2K in addition to the $2k we had paid , for ONE NIGHT. Find somewhere else if you care about your person. Staff turnover was frequent contacting anyone impossible.
