My mom is 91 years old and moved into Meadow Ridge 16 months ago. I have never seen her so happy! She LOVES the staff, has met many new friends, and she loves attending all the different functions-from game playing, to movie night and of course…happy hour! I cannot thank the people at Meadow Ridge enough! They have been a Godsend to her and her kids.
The Sunrise of Golden Valley community has made an impact on my life. I celebrate the staff for showing up every day with a heart to service the residents. It is not easy to care for people. However, the staff here is dedicated to making our residents feel cared for in a special way. They are the most supportive, and committed individuals around. A week ago, we had a snow storm which made it difficult to travel. Team members at Sunrise of Golden Valley showed up with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and ready to deliver optimum service to each resident without complaints. I was so impressed that I couldn’t be more thrilled and thankful to work with them. It can be easy to point out the things we think are wrong., but I rather focus on a group of people who tirelessly bring their A- game to the table every time they enter the doors at Sunrise. It is a pleasure to work beside them. Thank you for your caring commitment, it is noticed, and you ALL are appreciated.
The staff members are very friendly, courteous and show great care and respect to people. Those in Memory Care are treated with respect. The facility is very clean. The rooms for residents are spacious and well laid out. The facility's layout is spacious with indoor & outdoor porches, areas inside where you can sit and visit comfortably. The location is good as there is a park across the street.
When i first arrived here at sunrise in 2022 I noticed there wasn’t really any structure in place and everyone just did what they wanted. Things started to get better when ED Barbara began things started to improve. However Barbara was not always in the community and then things would go back to being messed up. When Anil arrived I noticed that things really started changing for the better. He was able to fill all of the coordinator spots and bring staff in that the community was unable to do since I’ve started. It feels great coming to work and I love the positive energy that is now flowing through the community. I love the new leadership and management that is in now in place.
