A very dear family member lived here for over a year. There was quite a bit of staff turnover but my family member never suffered because of it. She was very content and met some wonderful friends. She raved about the food and the staff was always so kind and caring. There are many activities including adventures around town. I would recommend this facility.

Not a good place to work nor live!! Very dirty/under staffed building , coordinators (Connor crouch) executive director (Deb rost) do not listen to the employees on how they can make the building better so it’s just stuck being unorganized, inconsistent and under valued! I feel for the residents that live there & the workers! :( if your looking for a great facility for your loved one id HIGHLY recommend Amira choice of Bloomington
This place may be less fancy than other places, but the staff is loving and the administration is available and committed, which is far more important. Feels like family. Highly recomment!
The management goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of the residents. Everybody leads by example and works hard to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. I was informed by a friend that the temperature on the first floor is 60° in the winter months and the management can’t get the temperature up anymore, because the front door is opening throughout the day. She uses a space heater in her room to keep her toasty warm.
After looking at several different facilities I decided to move my elderly mother here after she was unable to live independently anymore. The staff is very invested in the residents here, they all know her by name, and the quality of the care that she has received is first rate. The residence itself is very homey and comfortable with a spacious dining room, outdoor patio and many lovely common areas. All of the department heads are available if need be and are responsive to any needs or concerns I may have. But most of all, my mom feels like she is home. Highly recommend!!
