I met with Helen and Janelle to see if this was the right place for my grandma. Helen gave me an incredible tour of their facility and I got to meet some of their residents. It is incredibly clean and beautiful inside, you can tell the residents are comfortable. We spoke for a couple of hours about what I am looking for and about mt grandmother. They made me feel at ease and with a feeling of trust. I know my grandmother would be in kind and capable hands here when the time comes.
As a hospice chaplain I visit frequently. I am always impressed. The cleanliness, the amenities, and most of all, the staff are first rate. I’ve had opportunity to observe staff/resident interactions literally dozens of times. The first thing you notice is the genuine affection displayed. There is a family feeling, a familiarity that only comes from spending real time with the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunrise, without any reservations.
I have been to Sunrise of Carmichael on multiple occasions for staff training on CPR and first aid, and they are always receptive to the training. The facility is clean and the care staff genuinely cares about providing great care to their residents. I definitely recommend Sunrise of Carmichael!
